Allison's Log:
I woke with a start, the sounds of tapping outside my door woken me. It wasn't knocking, no, it was someone, or something, tapping on my door. It sounded as if someone was tapping on my door with a metal pipe.

I got out of bed, got my shoes on, and grabbed the kitchen knife I hid in my desk. I slowly crept towards my bedroom door, it wasn't coming from that one. I opened it slowly, but it still creaked loudly, I sneaked downstairs to my front door, the tapping was still going.

I gently and slowly put my hand on the knob, I turned it, got my knife ready, and flung it open. No one was there. The tapping had stopped immediately when I opened the door. I must have been hearing things, but how? I'm not sick at all, well, from what I know.

I closed the door, and walked back upstairs sleepily. I opened my door, didn't even bother closing it, put the knife back, and I got back into bed. I fell asleep almost instantly.

When I woke up, my head was killing me, and my body was stiff. I slowly got out of bed, groaning in pain from my stiff limbs. I got up, and almost lost my balance. I guess I slept in the wrong position last night. But it doesn't explain the massive headache all of a sudden.

As I was walking, I felt something wet under me. I stepped back to see a lone string, like one on a marionette or something, but it was in a tiny puddle of blood. I picked up the string and examined it. It was torn, possibly from a longer piece of string. But how did it get there? I don't remember it being there last night. And there definitely wasn't any blood anywhere.

Being one of those people who jump to conclusions and gets paranoid often, I grabbed a little bag and put the string inside. It was still covered in blood. In a time like this, the first person I would go to would be my best friend, Mary, I always show her things like this. Thinking their clues for a mystery, I guess there's a bit of kid left in me.
