The definition for "normal" has always been a difficult thing to comprehend. It's a simple enough thing to come up with and just about everyone would agree that "normal" is just that: normal. So what if people like to think that everyone is unique and different based on their qualities and what they bring to the table? It still doesn't change the fact that there will always be one outcast or one abnormality that everyone will do his or her best to turn a blind eye to. It still doesn't change the fact that "normal" is something that everyone accepts, whether or not they agree with it or not. "Normal" is unfair, yet it likes to say that it encompasses the majority, when it is the majority who feel most threatened by it. It leaves little to love, but what if "normal" was stolen away? What if "normal" no longer existed? Are you certain you want it all to disappear? Sure, there are so many who would say that "normal" does nothing but torment and isolate the majority, when in reality, isn't it everyone that relies on "normal"? We often find stories and fiction that tale of "normal" suddenly dissolving into wild adventures and fantasies or a certain individual who never possessed "normal".
But this isn't that kind of tale. For this tale, "normal" is something that is taken not just from the main character, but also from everybody. Then if that's the case, if everyone wasn't "normal", then isn't that in someway a contradiction? The difference is, "normal" is something of the past, something that everyone had but now don't. "Normal" no longer exists. Planet Earth has lost its possession of "normal" and as witness, you are about to see just what makes "normal" so important, something that everyone, even those who deny and despise it, cling so desperately to it. How would you cope if you lived in the same world yet something had changed that you couldn't possibly control? But who am I to judge the importance of something like this? Who am I even, you might even ask? For now, the only thing I can tell you is that I'm a collector. I'm a collector of minds, intelligence, thoughts, memories, behaviour and of course, stories. I'm a collector of interests and abilities and I love nothing more than to see how normality and abnormalities affect and clash with the mind, intelligence, thought, memory and behaviour. Now...to begin with our story, let's visit a small city on Earth...a city that desperately clings to "normal". But you must remember, despite this outlandish and maybe unbelievable tale, you yourself will eventually undergo a loss of "normal" as such losses are everyday occurrences, even for someone as normal as you.
