I'm walking through the ice.
The shards are stabbing and slicing my skin.
I'm the sacrifice.
To see if she'll fall in.
I don't wish to leave.
Even the air, as cold as the devil, which I breathe.
There's a burden I should heave.
Of which the cold devil won't let me receive.
I can not help her. Even though I love her so. From here on out she'll be alone in the snow.
Because I hear it cracking.
The thin,
breakable ice.
But to save her,
I'll have to be her sacrifice.
