Chapter 3

Amethyst pov

I wake up and get dressed. I go downstairs and decide to watch sponge bob. I turn the volume down low so that it won't wake anybody up. After about an hour of watching tv Mitch comes and joins me. "Mitch, how did you know that I wasn't ready to talk about my other adoptive parents?" I ask. He looks at me and takes a deep breath. "Because I was adopted too and before my parents adopted me all of my other guardians abused me. My parents now kept asking me about it but I didn't really want to talk about but eventually I did. I just figured that if I didn't want to then you might not want to either. I meant what I said about us being here for you. We will always be here for you. If you ever want to talk just let me know and we can talk." He says. For a minute I just look at him shocked who would ever want o hurt Mitch it makes no since. "One more question." I say and he gives me a look urging me to go on. "Have you ever told Scott about this." I say concerned. "No and I never plan to I don't want him to look at me differently like I'm weak." He says sadly. "Well, he knows now." I say and point at an angry and worried Scott. "I'm going to go to my room to give y'all some time alone you clearly need it." I say. Before the can say anything back I go to my room and shut the door. I go to my piano and start playing All of Me but it is the version Scott sung for Alex. When I'm done I hear people sniffling. I turn around and see Scott and Mitch crying. "That was beautiful." Scott says. "Thanks." I say and it gets quiet. "We came in here for a reason and that reason is to ask if you want to be on our next episode of superfruit." Mitch asks breaking the silence. "Yeah sure, when are y'all going to record it?" I ask. "Right now." Scott says as Mitch drags me to the front room. "Okay so you are going to sit between Scott and I and you will hide behind me and we will start the intro and say the welcome to superfruit my name is... And so forth so when both finish saying who we are you pop up and say that you are somebody that makes sense with whatever we say, okay?" Mitch finishes.  "Okay." I say and we get into position. "Welcome to superfruit; the best show on the internet my name is amethyst." Scott says. "My name is Scott." Mitch says and I pop up. "And my name is Mitch." I say. "Today we are going to be answering your questions." Scott says. "We tweeted this." Mitch says. "And you guys had some amazing questions." Scott finishes.

*time skip to end of video*

"That was fun." I say. "Yes it was."Scott replies. "So me and Scott were thinking about enrolling you in school. What do you think about that." Mitch says. "Yeah, okay." I say. "Well since it's only 10 a.m. let's go school supply shopping then we can go enroll you." Scott says.
We get in the car and Scott drives us to Walmart.

*at Walmart*

When we get to Walmart we go straight to school supplies. I get a back pack several notebooks, binders, post it notes, index cards, colored pencils, pencils, Kleenexes, hand sanitizer and expo markers. We check out and decide to go to McDonald's.

*at McDonald's*

We get out and go inside. I already know what I want so I don't have to look over the menu. "Why don't you tell me what you want and you can go find us a seat." Mitch offers. I tell him what I want and go find a seat away from people. I don't have anything wrong with people I just always try to find a seat away from people when I go out to eat for some reason. Mitch and Scott finally find me and sit down Mitch beside me and Scott across from me. "How come you dat all the way over here?" Scott asks. "I don't know I just always pick a seat away from people when I go out to eat. I don't have anything wrong with people it's just always something that I have done." I say. "Oh okay." Scott says and goes to get our food since they just called our number. "Did you know that Scott was behind me this morning during our conversation?" Mitch asks. "Yeah." I say. "Why didn't you tell me he was there?" Mitch asks. "Because I knew that you needed to tell him but you were to scared to so I just let you keep talking." I say. "Well thank you. If you wouldn't have done that I would have never told him and I would have never knew how he felt about me." He says. Now I'm kind of confused. "Huh?" I ask. "Stay calm please but Scott told me he loves me." He says. "That is normal for you guys though." I say. "The other kind of love." Mitch says sassily. HE WHAT! "So are y'all together now?" I ask. "Yes he asked me to be his boyfriend afterwards." Mitch says and I squeal quietly. "What are we squealing about?" Scott asks as he comes up with our food. "I told her that we're dating and she's happy about it." Mitch says. "Oh." Scott says and smiles before eating his food. We all eat in silence. When we are done eating we get in the car and drive to the school.

*at the school*

Once we get to the school Scott tells me to sit in the chair outside the office while him and Mitch go talk to the principal and he give me his phone. I play on his phone for about an hour before they come back out. "Okay so your first day of school is tomorrow."
Scott says. "Okay so let's just go out to eat." "Okay." Me and Scott say simultaneously making me glare at him. We go out to eat at chipotle and Mitch helps me pick out something to eat because I've never been here. When we leave we go home and it's only eight o'clock but I'm tired. "I'm getting kind of tired I'm going to go to bed." I say. "Okay." They reply. I get to my room and I'm asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.
