Halloween

It was Halloween day and me and Xander were getting ready to give out candy. I was just a month away from having Lila and I am preparing everyday. As someone knocks on the front door, I assume that it is some kids starting early, so I take the big bowl of candy off of the kitchen table and head for the door. When I open the door there is no one there. So I close the door and walk back toward the kitchen when all of a sudden, someone knocks on the door again, so I go to the door and open it carefully and SPLAT!! I was covered in wet toilet paper and o dropped the orange bowl of candy on the ground. I look around for anybody who could have done it when all of a sudden, three boys come out of the bushes. They fell and ran off say trick but no treat. I almost fell when Xander came and caught me and held me close. He told me he would find their parents and talk to them. I said OK but it still felt like I was a victim.
