I Am Split in Two
The room is full of talking
But my voice is dormant, my
Mind full of words
That my lips refuse to say
They sit in rubber chairs, their
Shoes off and smiles carefree
I dread the sadness
I know my story will bring
I see judging expressions
On these people I call friends
Or pitiful eyes
Companionship is absent
I want to show who I am
My past is apart of me
I am split in two
Longing compels me to share
***** A.N.
This is about my fear of sharing my testimony, or how I came to know God, with my small group (like a group of friends who support each other in keeping up our relationship with God) after knowing them for 4 years.
I hope you can relate somehow or you enjoyed this! Thanks for reading!:)
