The dream always started the same. She was running through the forest. It was pure will that must have kept her going although she could feel her legs tightening and burning, some sort of liquid ran down from her knee as her legs started to give out. Alas, She pushed on. For hope that she would find a clearing. That was the only thing she was holding onto at that point, Hope. She could see a meadow as she turned to look behind herself She spotted his shadow slowly moving from behind one Oak Tree to the next. He was a safe distance away but too close for comfort. And then he spotted her. It was quite the feeling that crept down her spine leaving her with goosebumps. He started running toward her full speed. She held her breath momentarily and slowing releasing it. Knowing panicking wouldn't do much good at that point. She picked up her pace. She could hear the sound of bullet shells falling on rocks and the crackling of twigs breaking, while his boots harshly bruised the forest floor. She could feel his eyes targeting her like pray. As her heart raced. She charged towards the opening if only She could get past it, then and only then could she be free. She never makes it to the meadow. She hears a loud ringing in her left ear and falls, her back landing on sharp rocks like knives that pierce through her skin. As she rolls over on her stomach and try's army crawling away. Through her determination she look up as if knowing her life is about to come to an end, she wished to see the sky one last time but locked eyes with the coldest gaze, a pistol and a bullet to the head. Maybe it wasn't even the bullet that killed her but the smile the crept across his face as he pulled the trigger.
