Prologue

Hidden in some expensive motel in Pasig, she texted him the room number and he just responded with a short ‘k’.

She’s starting to feel stupid, that this is yet the craziest thing she’s ever done in her life but resolving that she’s already here, the best thing she can do is wait if he’ll really arrive.

Examining her self in the mirror, she can’t help but admire the body she worked hard for. Her curves are all in the right places. She knew those hard hours of working out will eventually pay off one day. Like tonight, she can finally put to use her charms with the man she found to be so sinfully attractive. Wearing a black almost see-through camisole and her long, straight black hair framing her flawless face, she knows he wouldn’t be able to resist her.

Soon enough, she heard a soft knock, giving her reflection one last look, she felt perfect and took a deep breath.

Opening the door slightly, she peeked making sure it was him. She tried hard not to revel at his defined chest underneath his moss green shirt, which was the first thing that met her gaze, then at his perfectly chiseled face when she looked up. He gave her an uncertain smile.

“Aqiva?”

She almost laughed but stopped herself right on time and maintained the serene look on her face.

“Yeah.” She opened the door fully to let him in, revealing the spacious room that will witness the madness that will take place.

They both know why they were in that dimly-lit motel room.

He went in, still a little unsure yet wearing that amused smile on his face, he returned his gaze on her. The soft light made his caramel-colored skin richer, the shadows of his face and muscles of his biceps much sharper.

“So, how do we start?”

Honestly, she doesn’t know as well. She just knows one thing. After this night, everything will change.

Four hours later, she quietly reached for her discarded camisole and proceeded to the small bathroom where she left her overnight bag. He was still asleep, tired from the sweaty and satisfying conquest.

He was a little talkative which she didn’t expect. Bombarding her with different questions that she doesn’t want to answer, leaving her to do things that will divert his attention.

“Will I ever see you again?”

The most haunting question he asked an hour ago, while both of them were panting, waiting for their heartbeats to go back to normal.

Before leaving the room, she scribbled a little note from a piece of paper before silently creeping out, closing the door behind her.

The note says: “Maybe someday in a very different circumstance. Thanks for this night.”
