I open up my eyes, the sun stinging them through the window. I turn and look at the clock ,squinting it read 8:32 am. I still have thirty minutes. I laid back down, burrowing my face into my pillow. After five minutes of trying to go back to sleep I give up. I groan and climb out of bed. First day of college. Fantastic. I walk over to the clothes I had put out last night, since everything else is all packed up. I had on a white crop top, high waisted jean shorts, a jean jacket, and some white converse. I brush my thick blonde hair and throw it up into a pony, and put on mascara to make my icy blue eyes pop. Then, I walk into my bathroom taking a piss and brushing my teeth. Man, I'm going to miss this place so much, but college is a must.

I walk down stairs, my mother already crying. "My baby girl is leaving for college today! I'm so happy for you, but I'm going to miss you!" I give my mom a big hug and grab toast from the counter and sit next to my dad at the bar. He ruffles his newspaper he's reading, "So the big girl is leaving the nest to go to college! How exciting!"my dad says "Yeah, I guess so." I lie, I'm actually really nervous, even though I visited with my older sister Kate about twenty times. I check my iPhone to see what time it is. 10:31 am. "I'd better get going, it's an hour drive." I say restlessly. I give my mom and dad a hug and listen to my mom wail while driving away. I feel really bad for her. Ughhh.

Once I reach the college after jamming out to the radio, I pull in and get another good look at it. I'm going to start school here. This was my dream college even though I was really nervous. I finally find a parking spot by the office. I walk in and go up to the desk. "Hi. Um I'm here for my dorm key and my schedule?" I say it more like a question. The little old lady looks up at me from her chair and smiles. "What's your name dear?" She says sweetly. "Oh gosh! I'm sorry, my names Kyliegh Fae." She messes with a jumble of papers and keys pulls them out. "Ah ha! Here you go Ms. Fae." She hands me the paper and key. I thank her and scurry out the door.

"Room 222." I keep mumbling over and over until I find it. I knock on the door, incase my roommate is already here. "Come in!" I here a shout from the other side of the door. I put the boxes down and open up the door. "Oh! You want me to help you? By the way, I'm Lainie Diamond!" She grabbed a few boxes and set them on my side of the room. Once I'm all unpacked I plop onto my bed, "I never got your name!" Lainie mentioned. "Oh! I'm Kyleigh Fae." I said totally forgetting to introduce myself. "Well, Kyliegh Fae, you're going to have the time of your life!!"
