Hiccups POV

Toothless let out a soft whimper when we landed

"Easy bud" I say stroking his nose. I told him to stay here. Much like my dragon that doubled as my best friend i felt uneasy as well. I was both dreading and excited for what we would find. I looked around at my fellow guardians who had their weapons at the ready, eyes and ears peeled for any signs of trouble. And so was I.

I just wasnt just ready I was eager. But I also felt awfully dreadful. If all went well I would find elsa today. But what I felt dreadful about is the condition I would find elsa in. Worst case scenerio we find her body.

I hopped off toothless and he walked alongside of me. The place pitch chose to live was a grand castle. Tall dark stone towers and empty hallways. Like any castle there were many paintings and plants covering the walls. But you could barely even see them. The torches that were lit only gave a small amount of light. The fact that they were all quietly burning and that this place was so clean and well kept only convinced me more that someone lived here. And not just the dark feeling of this place but the feeling it gave you it had to be pitch.

There was definitely somthing evil lurking here in the shadows not yet wanting to be seen. I walked quietly trying to stay alert to any movement or sign of life. The others followed closely behind me and I decided to head down lower. If elsa was being kept here my best guess was that she was being kept in some sort of cell or dungeon room. And those type things are usually in the lower levels of a castle. And that's when I heard it. Faint sobs could be heard somewhere in the distance. Someone was crying. And that someone sounded like Elsa. Curiousity and a feeling of longing filled me. Shes here somewhere. Going on just pure instinct I ran as fast as I could towards the source of the crying

"Hiccup stop!" Jack called behind me. I ignored him and kept runnng. Then I came to a large room. On the otherside. There she was. Scarred, cut and bruised but she was still beautiful. She had always been beautiful and she always will be to me. And the best part of all was that she was alive. Elsa was alive!

Elsas POV

*flashback*

"Its a girl" Alex cried happily. He wrapped her in a tiny brown blanket and handed the crying little girl to me. I gently rocked her in my arms and tried to calm her down

"Shes it's okay little one. Your mommy's here now" I whispered to her. I had been thinking of names for my child for months. And I think I finally had one.

"Welcome to the world Kelley Anne haddock. If only your daddy could have seen you. Im sure he would have loved you just as much as I do." I said and kissed her little baby forehead. as soon as I heard her I loved her. I was prepard to lay down my life for this tiny little life. She finally opened her eyes and looked up at me with big bright green eyes. She had hiccups eyes. A few blonde hairs peeked out from her little baby head. It was hard to tell if she would look like me or hiccup right now but I knew she would be beautiful either way. Then kelley let out an adorable little yawn and she fell asleep in my arms.

"Elsa" alex said quietly reminding me of what had to be done. With a sadness as heavy as the day I lost hiccup I handed her over to alex.

"Dont worry. You will see your child soon. I promise" alex reassured me and i felt a little better. Alexs mother lived close enough for alex to make the journey but far enough that she would be hidden from hans. I couldn't stress how important it was to get her out of here. Alex stopped in the doorway and smiled at me before finally leaving. In a few days he would come back and take me away from this place. From there I would begin the journey back to arendelle and be reunited with my sister, friends and kingdom. With those thoughts dancing around in my head I finally let my eyes close and I drifted off to sleep.

*end of flashback*

Hiccups POV

I take a moment to take it all in. I let my eyes wander over every part of her. Filled with joy I ran straight towards her. Soon expecting to hold her in my embrace and be able to feel her lips against mine once again but that didn't happen. Instead I ran right through her. I turned around her desperately wanting an explanation. Dont tell me she doesnt believe in me! But I soon found out that wasn't the case. The image flickered a few times and a video of her crying started up again.

I looked to my left and picked up a small black device. It looked to be some sort of projector. As soon as i touched it the image faded away. I dropped it and sank to my knees fighting back tears. When I looked back i saw that the guardians had finally arrived. Merida came over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder

"Im so sorry hiccup" she said quietly. I shook my head at her

"No. She has to be here. She just has to be

"Im sorry hiccup but shes not here. This was a trick played by pitch" pitch. That one simple word was enough to fill my body with anger. Unable to hold it in i screamed in frustration and banged my fists against the hard stone floor. Merida took a few steps back. I ran my hands through my hair in frustration. Curse hans, curse pitch, curse them taking my wife, curse them making her think I was dead! Curse everything! Once I had calmed down a little the words merida had said replayed in my mind, 'Trick played by pitch' merida had said. Trick. That one word echoed through my head. That's when I realized what this really was.

"Hello hiccup" a voice came from behind me only confirming that this was indeed a trap set by pitch. I turned around to find exactly who I was expecting to find standing behind me. Pitch black
