♥Chapter one♥

'So, do you like your family?' The rain pounded against the windows in a steady rhythm, the wheels rattling tiredly against the soaked road.

'Its complicated. I love them obviously but ....we're not perfect to say the least'
The endless echo of laughter surrounding us, shrill and unending died away as I looked into his eyes.

A brilliant blue.

He was running his hands through his hair. He turned to look at me and I looked away, embarrassed.

Through the unforgiving rain I could see the beautiful landscape. Rolling hills and meadows stretching as far as the eye could see. Even in this torrential downpour I could see how beautiful it was.

Suddenly his hand touched mine and I looked down to our hands, side by side, then up to meet his gaze. 'i. ...'

'Awww look at these two love birds' cried bestfriend from the seat in front causing me to jerk my hand away.
'Seriously girl?

Look at you and your boyfriend' she gave me a look that said I need to talk to you.

I lent down to the gap in the chair and she whisperd to me ' get his hat' I couldn't help but laugh. 'Why?'
'Just do it!'
' I can't it's on his lap!'
'Oh well'

I reached for the cap and my hand quickly darted out and grabed it. ' Hey!' He said in a playful tone. ' give it back'
' No!' I told him equaly playful.
'Are you sure?'
'Yup' I said defiantly.

His hands reached out and gently tickled my sides. I creased up laughing and chucked the cap over the seat.

'We're here guys!' Our form tutor shouted back and the laughter was replaced with an equaly shrill cheer.

We both leant over and looked at the house on the top of the hill. So this is pinkery. This normalish looking building.

We grabbed our bags and stood up. As we climbed of the bus I wished I hadn't packed my coat up thinking it wouldn't rain.

'Here. Take mine'
' what about you?'
' Im fine'
'I dont want you to freeze. I'm fine really' I said with a smile. As we climbed the hill, the rain falling in blankets of ice cold water, excitement in the air, I realized i might actually like this boy.
