"And thats all for the natural channel this week folks, till next time." As the credits started to roll I stood up. So did Jordan.

"huuh" I sighed ."There's no adventure in life" I said.

"I agree." replied Jordan.

" So do I" said Jake getting up and rubbing blood back into his arms. They started to the door, "what's that Ainge." exclaimed Jakme . he walked toward the wall I followed him he pointed to a notch in the wall. "wats that" he repeated. Pointed to a notch in the wall. I kneeled down and examined the notch in the wall,as Jordan walked up.

I should probably explain. I met Jordan and Jake on the first day of school. I had been climbing a maple tree in the school yard. I was pretending to climb Mt.Everest and my ropes snapped. I had planned to just drop from the branch, but my sweater got caught and it gave me a wicked scratch it also turned me of balance. and so I ended up on my face. All the kids pointed and laughed all except Jordan and Jake. as Jake picked me up Jordan wiped my cut and helped stop my bloody nose And so they have been my only friends for the three months live lived in spruce-grove.

That memory flashed through my mind i examined the notch in the wall it was hand shaped bet hardly noticeble the only way Jake fond it was probely the fact that the mid morning sun cosed fond it seemed more than a mere coincidence that it fit my hand. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain rocket through my hand. My hand jolted out I looked down at my hand. it was bleeding "DNA analysis under way" I heard a faint computer voice say

"are you OK" Jake said
