Chapter Twenty-One

A few days later, Devon was finally over the flu he had so everyone got ready to head back to Ying-Yang mansion. After Leona, Dracula, Devon, and Robin packed up the van the vampire consul had come to see them off like they promised.

"It's good to see you're up and back to your old self Devon." Rathmos said.

"I feel like a fledgling again." Devon replied flexing his arms and stretching. "Good to hear." Kinthra laughed.

"Oh yeah, Leona here's your ring back. We have finished examining it." Tethemon said and he handed Leona the ring.

"Do you know what was wrong with it?" Dracula asked.

"We've determined that it was just her anger of Raiden doing such substantial damage to the young witchling and her love and determination just overruled the restrictive powers of the ring." Medeus said.

"I see."

"It shouldn't happen again."

"Also, you may practice your magic again; just do so responsively and carefully." Ryuga said.

"Thank you very much for your gracious hosting and for your mercy on the kids." Dracula replied as he bowed.

"It's no problem. As long as they remember that next time they won't be so lucky to get off with a slap on the wrist as humans say."

"We will definitely remember that." Devon said with honestly.

"That's good. Hopefully the next time we meet it will be on friendly terms. If you ever need anything please don't hesitate to get in contact with us and we will do everything in our power to help. We actually would like to meet the witchling you two protected."

"Well, if we would be allowed to when Luna recovers we were actually wondering if we could bring her out to meet you guys and to let her have a little vacation." Leona said.

"Not a problem. Just send a letter when you would think that would be and we will be proud to allow you guys to come back for a little vacation for the young one."

"Thank you so much brothers." Dracula said and he shook the consul's hands and they piled into the car and headed back to the mansion.

When they finally got back to the mansion three days later Dracula pulled up the driveway and shortly after the front door opened to see Pryase, Brittani, Kenya, and Demi come out of the house.

"Hey guys!" Dracula shouted as they got out of the van and Pryase ran right over to the van and scooped Leona into his arms.

"Hey Pryase, not that I'm not happy to see you but can we have a little modesty for Devon?" Leona asked, not wanting to upset Devon.

"No worries Leona. As soon as I'm done taking my stuff up to my room I'm heading over to the hospital to see her."

"The visitor limitation was taken off her and she was moved to a normal hospital room yesterday." Pryase said as he put Leona down on the ground but didn't let her go. "Do you want to see your sister?"

"Yeah, I have to tell her the truth now that everything is alright." Leona said.

"Well she's down to one arm. It turns out that her arm really is paralyzed. The doctors did some testing to see if they can repair it but they're not sure if they'll be able to. On the plus side, there isn't any damage to Luna's vocal cords. Her voice is back to normal and she was singing to the songs on her MP3 player like she would any other day." Pryase said.

"Depending on when the doctors figure out what's going on with her arm she'll be home within a few days." Brittani added.
