Sadie' POV

I wake up and notice I'm alone. Weird. I roll over and rub my eyes grabbing my phone.

Jack G😅🙈: Hey sorry I left. But your brother would've killed me I'll be over around 11

Jack G😅🙈: WAKE UP

I laugh to myself and look and see that its 11:30. Oops.... I look and realize I have to go to school tommorrow. I get out of bed and go to my bathroom and take a shower. I change into some of leggings and an oversized sweater. I straighten my hair and walk back into my room. I grab my black and mint green NorthFace backpack and pull out my AP government and politics binder. I start working on my paper for that class. After a solid 10 minutes of unproductiveness I realize I should probably put my glasses on so I can see. I put my glasses on and decide to go downstairs and get something for breakfast. I assume the guys are in the basement on the basketball court so I should easily avoid them. I head down the stairs and into the kitchen and see all the guys shirtless sitting on the counter. Well. That plan bombed real quick.  I ignore them when I feel someone give me a hug and kiss me on the cheek. I look and see Sam standing there and he says

"Good Morning baby sis."

I look at Nate and raise my eyebrow at him and he says

"Sam. She's my sister. Y'all can be like best friends. But she's my sister so back up."

I laugh and notice Gilinsky staring at me. I slightly wave and he smiles at me. God this boy is disorienting me. I look and JJ and say

"Aye boo."

He laughs and says

"Are you drunk hun?"

I start laughing really hard and say

"I don't even know."

All the guys start laughing along with us and after a minute, Nate looks at me and says

"Sadie I need you to listen to me. Don't get mad, just listen, okay?"

I reluctantly slowly nod my head and he says

"Dad called this morning. He wanted you to talk to him."

I glare at him and he says

"I told him no. And he told me something, I know you not gonna like. I'm gonna be honest, I don't completely agree with it but..."

"WHAT NATE JUST FREAKING TELL ME."

"Mom and dad are pulling you out of Apex at the end of the semester."

I feel tears slowly going down my face and I look at Nate and say

"W-w-what?"

My voice cracks and Gilinsky walks over to me and rubs my arm and says

"Let's go talk in the living room."

I feel Gilinsky guide me over to the couch my mind going a million miles a minute. Nate sits on one side of me, Sam on the other while Gilinsky kneels in front of me, Johnson beside him. Sam looks at me and says

"Sadie, what's Apex."

I go to talk and all that comes out is a sob, and I break down and Sam pulls me into his shoulder while I cry and Nate says

"Apex, is the private school Sadie goes to. Our mom and dad want her to go to public school instead of private. They claim that it's a 'crutch' for her. I'm not gonna say much more because The rest is Sadie's buisness, but theres a reason Sadie goes to private school instead of public."

Gilinsky grabs my hands and I just stare down at my hands and Johnson says

"Sadie, what's going on?"

I look at Nate and he says

"Sadie, you can do this, it's okay."

I look up and Gilinskys looking at me in the eyes. I look at him and say

"I have severe anxiety disorder, and I uhm, I-I uhm, when I went to public school, I had bad panic attacks, and my mom and dad pulled me from the system."

Sam pulls me into a hug and whispers to me and says

"Listen, Sadie, I love you like a sister, and I've got your back, and I'm here for you."

I start crying even harder and I look at Nate and say

"There's something else you need to know."

I reach for my sleeve, my hands shaking and slowly roll up my sleeve. I look up and see all the guys crying and Johnson says

"Sadie, honey, how long has this been going on?"

"Uhm, 2 years. Ever since the panic attacks started."

Sam pulls me into a hug and we both start crying and he says

"Sadie, I need you to give me your blades, and I need you to stop, okay?"

I nod and say

"In the closet, in the studio. In my makeup case, the Nyx one."

He nods and gets up going downstairs wiping his eyes. I stare at my hand and I feel someone pick up my arm lightly and look up and see Gilinsky holding it tears rolling down his face, and I see Sam take my arm from him and he lightly kisses each and every cut and scar on my arm. I cover my mouth with my hand crying and I crawl on top Sam hugging him holding on tight and he says

"I love love love you Sadie."

I feel me being pulled out of Sams arms and into Gilinskys and he says

"I'm gonna hold on and never let go of you Sadie, I'm gonna protect you no matter what."

He lets me go and wipes his eyes and Johnson kisses my cheek and says

"Princess, promise to stop?"

I nod and say

"I'm going to try."

Nate walks upstairs and says

"Sadie, you're gonna got to Memorial High. It's a big school, me and the guys go there, so you don't have to worry. And remember you've got another week at Apex, so you'll be okay."

Maybe, maybe Nate's right. Maybe I will be okay.
