You don't have to read this unless you want to know about the book and main characters.

Writing: It's about how an "outcast" child, ~Mars~ would slowly be brought into the light by a guy he's liked ~Carter~ but both of them have to deal and hide most of the problems from the school Bully ~Zack~ who's caused depression for one of our Characters.

Characters: Mars, Carter, and Zack.
"Mistake" What everyone would call someone who was like Mars. A freak of nature, abnormal, abomination, and what hurt most of all, "alien". Just because Mars wasn't the typical teenager. Mars never went out and hung with friends, he was sort of an outcast if you would say. He was a short and pale boy, his hair was shoulder long and the deepest of black making his icey blue eyes just shine. His stature seemed week, he wasn't no jock. He seems weak and helpless but no one knows him on a personal level because everyone just thought of him as the abnormalities of our world. Everyday he hears the laughter made by others who make fun of him when he would walk by. Happiness is the thing Mars would pray
for but never see. It's one thing he would beg god for. One thing that seems so far away, unreachable, something that's a small white dot in a black universe. The word happiness meant so much to him but he could only feel a small part of it and that was when he thought he was safe. He had it ripped from him when he would hear the bell ring for the end of class. He could feel the burning sensation of the eyes of those he should be calling classmates but doesn't. Mars has a certain secrete, and that secrete is he likes the school jock, Carter. This is Mars.

Tall, muscular, and handsome, Carter was a football player. He wasn't the biggest player but he was pretty darn big, he wasn't the stereotypical football player who would pick on the smaller and weaker kids, he wouldn't help but he wouldn't hurt them. He was a smart boy and he was a lady's man even tho he would denied it. He didn't go off to find females or anything because he had something "wrong" with him... he fancied men, he wasn't turned on by girls or by boobs. He never had feelings for a girl but he didn't want to believe it, he would always try to hide it and to do that he would date girls. You could see that he was never happy with girls, you could see the way he would look at some of his male friends apart from his female friends. It was easy to see but no one really noticed it except for one person, Mars. This is carter

Zack... Zack wasn't nice at all. He was the school bully, he picked on poor Mars and sometimes call on Carter. He was a stereotypical football player. He isn't liked very well because he doesn't know how to keep his yapper shut. He's a bit larger than Cater, he has hazel eyes and the darkest of brown in his hair. He has a girlfriend but she isn't a real big thing of this book, but her name is Chy. This is Zack
