"What did you do this time?" Dean asks.

Castiel sighs. "I don't know." He replies.

"What do you mean 'you don't know'?" Dean asks.

Waverly looks between the two men nervously and fiddles with her fingers. Castiel takes notice of this and looks at her. He narrows his eyes.

"You're lying." Castiel states.

Waverly looks at him with a frightened expression on her face. "What? No. I would never-"

She was cut off by Sam. "Lets just go see Balthazar and see what he wants." He says and shrugs.
Dean sighs. "Fine," He looks at Waverly. "Just don't be spewing bodily fluids in my baby." He says and points a finger at her.

She nods and scrambles to the Impala. Sam and Dean sit in the front, and Castiel and Waverly in the back. Dean starts down the road once again.

"Can't you just zap us there?" Waverly asks Castiel.

He glances at her, then out the window again. "I could, but Dean prefers driving." Castiel replies.

Dean looks in the rearview mirror and gives Waverly a small smile. Castiel mindlessly presses two fingers to Waverly's forehead. His expression goes blank as his vision is flooded with her past. Waverly soon figures out what it is that he's doing and immediately smacks his fingers away. She shakes her head and looks out the window. Castiel smiles softly, intrigued by his new companion. Of course, he didn't see anything wrong with what he did, angels were quite ignorant when it came to the human race. Waverly sighs and leans her head back onto the seat and closes her eyes. She might as well go to sleep, since its about a day's drive. Darkness floods her vision and sleep overtakes her moments later. Soft snores escape her mouth. Castiel examines her face. She had short green hair styled into a quiff with a shaved bottom half, full, almost heart shaped lips, a small nose, long, but not thick eyelashes, and very defined cheekbones.

"You're staring Cas." Dean whispers, breaking the angel from his trance.

Castiel smiles and leans back into the seat.

"You're awfully smilely." Sam points out.

"Aww, does Cassie have a crush?" Dean teases.

Castiel rolls his eyes. "She's a very interesting person." He says simply.

"Interesting? Just interesting? Not attractive at least a little?" Dean asks.

"Well, she is very beautiful. But I do not have feelings for her." Castiel replies and looks out the window.

Seconds later Waverly's head falls onto Castiel's shoulder, making him shift awkwardly. "What do I do?" He whispers.

"Just let her sleep." Sam replies, craning his neck around the seat.

Castiel relaxes his arm and sighs. "I wish I could sleep." He mumbles.

"Trust me, with this job you don't want to." Dean mumbles.

Castiel frowns and looks down at Waverly, who shifted slightly, but stayed on Castiel's shoulder. Dean hits a bump and Waverly's head falls into Castiel's lap.

"Erhm, her head is in... an awkward place..." Castiel trails off.

"Is her head on your crotch?" Sam chuckles. Castiel frowns and nods.

"Don't get a boner." Dean chants under his breath repeatedly.

Sam snickers and turns the radio up slightly.

"Um, maybe I should wake her." Castiel suggests, his face turning red from embarrassment.

Sam looks back and sees that Castiel, did in fact have a boner...

Waverly finally woke up the next morning only to find herself in Castiel's lap. She quickly sits up and mumbles an apology. She runs a hand through her matted hair.

"Shit, I don't have anything with me," She mumbles, patting her pockets. "We're stopping at a motel right?"

"I planned on it." Dean replies.

She sighed in relief and leaned back. She glances at Castiel. "Did I sleep on you all night?" She asks.

"Oh, if only you knew." Sam chuckles.

Castiel shoots him a glare through the rearview mirror. Sam gives him a toothy grin in return.

"You could've woken me up." She says.

"You looked peaceful." Castiel protests.

She presses her lips together and looks at him with an angry expression in her eyes, remembering what he did the night before.

"My past was none of your business." She mumbles and turns away from him.
