"Can you please go." Taylor pressed her lips together awkwardly. Then she turned her back to Adam, trying to block him out slyly. She opened her locker pretending he wasn't there.
But Adam just scoffed, and licked his lips. "C'mon," he whined. He pressed his back up against the wall to talk to her longer. "Its okay bebe." He insisted.
What does he think he is doing? Taylor is my girlfriend, not his. He cant be calling her bebe, She is mine and I certainly don't like sharing.
Before he can get another word out immediately jumped into the conversation. "Leave." was all I was manged to say, I kept my eyes on his.
He took one look at me and scoffed, before looking back at Taylor. I became annoyed when he acted as if I wasn't there. I nudged his arm, "go Adam." I demanded glaring at him. "I don't want you around her." I stated, clenching my jaw.
His grey eyes looked up at me. His messy brown hair shined and his tan skin seemed lighter today. "You have a problem?" He asked he glared at my like I was an imposer.
Adam has always been a problem, we used to be great friends, until he slept with my girlfriend in tenth grade. He never left me alone after that, he basically made it his mission to make my life miserable. He is like the gooey gum on the bottom of your shoe that you cant seem to scrape off.
I looked up at Taylor, her blond hair waved over her shoulders like waves in an ocean. Her pale skin blended well with her blue streak in her hair, just like mixing paint paint together. Her eyes were as bright as the sun, as blue as the sky, and as soft as silk. She was amazing. Then I took my sightings away to someone who was more unpleasant. Back to Adam.
I nodded. "She is my girlfriend." I stated the truth, nodding my head once. "And you're gonna say away from her, or god so help me-" I stopped, knowing he got the drift. instead, I just shook my head at his actions.
He scoffed again. "No," he whispered with his eyes wide, taunting me.
Then before I knew it, I was falling back with a bruising pain in my left eye. The asshole punched me. I laid on my back in the middle of the hallway, balancing myself with my arms. It seemed like the mumbles of people's laughing and glaring would never end. They echoed through the halls and it seemed like it would never end, but when I realized what just happened, frustration began in my gut. It felt like a scream would rip itself from my throat.
Then that was it, I opened my eyes at stared at my darkened ceiling. Its the middle of the night. It's just a dream, it's just a dream. But it felt so real, so-. I don't know.
In order to steady myself, I exhaled slowly. Its eventually took away all the anger away. I closed my eyes and drifted off to my darkened world.
The next morning I did the usual- I went to school. I walked down the lockers, they were so red like a tongue after eating a cherry sucker. I instantly frowned when I saw Adam at her locker, probably taunting her. Seeing him with her is like seeing the sun shining brightly, slicing the sky with its beauty, then seeing a big grey cloud come to ruin the day. My stomach dropped, like a glass to the floor.
I walked faster towards her locker, ignoring the fact the bell would ring any second.
"What are you doing?" My voice was very settle and calm, or at least I thought so. I probably seemed uptight, and well- I guess I am. He is around her, and he wants her. And Adam usually gets what he wants. My eyes never left him, I glares like I was starring at a police officer would stare at a criminal.
He scoffed, ignoring how I glared his eyes like it the last thing he will ever live for. That scoffed quickly grew into a smile. Then before I knew it, he was throwing his head back and laughing. His laugh echoed through with such energy and joy.
