"Thank you for saving my life."
Kuga stared hard at his classmate. A few hours earlier, she had just been lying on the hospital bed.
"What are you doing here?" His tone harsher than he would have liked.
She seemed surprised by his tone but she quickly fixed it into a neutral expression.
"I am grateful that you took the effort to save me, Kuga-kun. That is all what i came here to say. If you'll excuse me."
"Where are you going?" He asked following her out the door.
"I must seek out the other S-Hall members. To thank them for their efforts personally."
"I'm coming with you. The state you're in, you probably wont make it passed the building."
Kuga ignored the smile she sent his way.

Kuga lead her to S-Hall where the others were gathered having tea.
After a brief introduction, the S-hall welcomed her and invited her to join them all for tea. Jurie didnt miss the way Kuga's eyes twinkled whenever Hiyoki was talking to him. She couldnt even bring herself to hate the sweet S-Hall member. She really didnt stand a chance.
+++++++++++
Jurie bit her lip trying to supress a grin at the poker face Cain was giving her as Hiyoki introduced them to each other.
As graceously as she can, Jurie managed to tone down the grin she threw to Cain's direction.
If Cain could allow himself to react, he would have rolled his eyes at the impish girl.

It was late afternoon that Jurie left S-Hall for home. Shoving a hand down her kacet, she found someone had placed a card in it.
The tarot card of Death.
Jurie smiled. How fitting. To have almost died and to feel like dying over a love that wasnt hers.
+++++++++++++++
Jurie stared outside as the lecture droned on. Wind was picking up outside as a typhoon was reportedly heading their way. Yet there was no rain. The sun was up bringing Jurie a small degree of happiness. Her wounds were getting better and she looked less like someone who got ran over.
Its been over a month or so since her toturial with Kuga ended and the slitting of her throat. She'd be lying to herself if she didnt miss him but it was getting easier everyday to keep her eyes from looking for him. And surprisingly, catching a glimpse of him doesnt feel like having her heart carved out by a dull spoon anymore.
++++++++++++++
Its the holidays and the whole school looked like it got poisoned by the xmas bug. Lanterns, streamers, and a whole lot of knicknacks were found everywhere Jurie looked. As the weekend rolled in, Jurie breathed a sigh of relief. She could only be so much merry making she could take.
+++++++++++++
Jurie just finished puking out her guts from too much weight training when she heard the knock door on her room. Grabbing a towel, she checked on the surveillance cameras who it was knocking.
+++++++++++++
Jurie quickly got over her initial shock and was busily trying to breathe through her laughter.
"It's not funny.
Jurie howled as she doubled over. She couldnt help it. Hiyoki's face glowering at her like Cain was hilarious. Cain's handsome face who looked slightly confused between being miffed and slight worry was going to dislocate her jaw.
"Are you done?" The impatience exclusively Cain's was helping Jurie calm down a bit. He usually tends to throw things right after he talks like that.
"Dont get your panties in a twist, Cain." Jurie had to snigger. "Its a simple problem with a simple solution. Let me grab some stuff."
Cain trapped in Hiyoki's body gave Jurie that aristocratic haughty look which made Jurie bite down on her own hand.
Jurie made a list of ingredients to buy and shoved it unto Ren Ichikawa.
"Bring those stuff here. There's my cell number on the bottom if you have any questions."
Jurie ducked in time to avoid the cup Cain threw at her head.

"I didnt know you were friends."
Both Jurie and Cain who was now in his rightful body paused in drinking their tea.
"Please dont jinx me like that. Ive got enough crap to deal with already."
Jurie said cheerfully to Hiyoki. Ren, Kuga and Yamashina-sempai were drinking tea wwith them. They looked like they were trying to come into terms with the ritual they had just witnessed.
"How are you guys holding up?"
"Did that really happen?" Ren asked. She smiled at him. What a straighforward guy.
"If by that, you meant the ritual where they levitated, glowed and went to their proper bodies? Then yes,. Yes, you did." Jurie flopped a hand in Hiyoki and Cain's direction.
"Is it too upsetting?" She asked.
"Its too unbelievable!" He burst out.
"I have to agree with Ren. Telling us you can do magic isnt possible." Kuga agreed.
"Do you feel the same way, Yamashina-sempai?"
The respectable senior nodded.
She shrugged then proceeded to drink tea.
"Before I forget, Cain do you remember that tag I had you hold on to?"
"It's in a safe place."
"I'd like it back. The others also share the same sentiment."
"All of you decided this?"
"Pretty much." She said with another shrug. Her phone suddenly rang. She excused herself from them.
"Where did you meet her, President? You guys seem awfully close." Yamashina observed.
"We had mutual acquiantances."
"Why wont you admit that you're friends?" Ren asked with a frown.
"I will never be her friend."
Hiyoki, Kuga, Ren, and Yamashina frowned at the firm tone.
"After all the things we've been through, Cain? You still dont want to be my friend?" Jurie asked as she sat back down.
"I'm hurt." Jurie's grin was so wide it had to hurt.
Cain rolled his eyes.
"You will be my friend, Cain. One day."
Jurie said it in a tone that broke no argument. She withdrew a card from her pocket and flipped it open.
"I've already gotten my notice of eviction."
He narrowed his eyes at the death tarot card.
"That's a fake." He remarked.
"You're no fun anymore." She pouted before snickering.
He rolled her eyes at her.
"You're so dramatic."
"Birds of the same feather, Pot."
