CHAPTER10: a picture from the past

This is the third day in a row she stayed here. I don't mind but still. I convinced he to let me sleep on the couch after I told her I was going to let her sleep on the streets. I was getting kind of  cold and headed up to my room. She was in the shower so I just opened my warsrobe and took out two blankets. As I turned arownd I saw something half in her backpack. I walked over to it and took uf out.y heart skipped a beat when I saw what it was. It was a foto of her as a child. Probably 8. She was so adorable. She had a redish pink hoodie on with the words strawberrie written in black. She had two red ribbons in her hair. She had a sparkel in her eye a sort I have never seen in her. She made her fist look like it was pu ching something. Could she get any more adorable? 'You can keep that if you want.' she said and I almost had a heart attack. 'It brings back to much memories. I only keep it bevause its the only proof of my previous life.' She said pointing to the picture.' I can't take that its the only thing you have left from your previous life.' I said. 'Well actally I still got my loony and I cherish that more than a stupid piece of paper.' She gave this to me. Does she feel the same way. No probably not. 'I promise I wilo keep it for ever.' I said and she turned around and headed back to the bathroom. I looked at the small piece of paper iny hand and turned it around. 2005/08/19 was written on the back. Was it her birthday or what. I turned it around again and those pretty eyes met mine if I ever had a child I would want him or her to be just like kathrinne...
