Chapter Five

Charlotte teleported to the factory. The place was trashed. "Hello?"
"Charlotte!" Sam ran to her.
"Sammy." She hugged him tight. "Thank God you're okay. What happened?"
"I could control my powers. Ultra came. They took everybody."
"Why didn't they take you?"
"I was hidden."
"Clever boy." Charlotte teleported home. Julia was there with Kayne (the dad). "Mama. Papa."
"Charlotte what a surprise." Kayne smiled.
"I need you to watch Sammy." She handed Sam to Kayne. "I need to save my friends."
"Ultra got them?" Julia stopped Charlotte from going into the secret weapons vault. "You aren't going."
"You either get out of my way or I'll make you." Charlotte snapped. Julia moved out of the way. Charlotte grabbed a SIG P228 and a SIG P229. She tucked them in her waist band. She attached two knife holsters on her thighs. Finally she placed two knife holsters on her arms. Closing the vault behind her she headed back into the living room. She took one last look at her family in case it would be the last time she saw them.

Charlotte teleported into Ultra. Two guards coming at her. She threw one of her knives at the first guard. She pulled the knife out of his chest and slashed the other guards throat. The walkie talkie went off. Charlotte picked it up. "Listen carefully you bastard. I will kill every last one of you. You've made me angry." She crushed the walkie talkie. 'Zack can you hear me?' C
'Charlotte 8th floor.' Z
'On my way.' C Charlotte teleported to the 8th floor. On either side of her were lots of guards. "Where are my friends?"
"You're out number." A women snarled ignoring Charlotte's question. The women punched Charlotte making her mouth fill up with blood. Charlotte spat the blood out. "Give up."
"Nah I don't think so." Charlotte pulled out her guns. She shot the women which caused a ringing/shooting pain fill her head. She started shooting the other guards ignoring the shooting pain in her head. The guards began shooting at her. She flipped off the wall dodging the bullets. All the guards were dead. Charlotte wiped the blood from her mouth.

Charlotte had freed all of her people except Zack. All her people were at her house. Charlotte found Zack in a room. He was held up by chains. A cuff was put on her wrist. It looks different then anything she'd seen before. She tried to teleport, she made it 2 metres before falling down. Charlotte got to her feet and faced the boss of Ultra, Dale. He threw a punch at Charlotte she ducked. She was thrown against a wall. "Leave her alone!" Zack yelled. Charlotte got back up and threw punches and kicks at Dale. He stomped on her knee causing her to fall down in pain. Charlotte shakily got back up ignoring the pain in her leg. Pain filled her stomach. Charlotte looked down and saw blood forming on her top. She took out her knife and threw it at Dale. It landed in his brain killing him instantly. Charlotte collapsed to the ground. She dragged herself over to the button to release Zack. Once he was free Zack ran to Charlotte. "Charlie stay with me. You're gonna be okay."
"Promise me something?" Charlotte coughed up blood.
"What?"
"Take care of them." Her eyes closed.
"Charlie! Charlotte!" Zack picked up Charlotte and teleported to the other. "Julia help!"
"What happened?"
"Dale shot her." Zack moved Charlotte's fringe off her forehead which was laced in sweat. "Do something!"
"Shut up!" Julia snapped. She felt Charlotte's neck for a pulse. She looked at Zack. "She's...."
