"No," I said. I am in my pajamas, holding a tub of ice cream, watching A Walk To Remember for the hundredth time.
"Nicole, it's been a week since you and Owen broke up, it's time to go out," Brianna said.
"I don't wanna, I'm not ready," I complained.
"That's it, Brianna, Nicole and I will meet you at the party. You go ahead," Kiera, my best friend in the entire world, said.
"You sure?" Brianna, a friend I hang out with on occasion, asks.
"Positive," Kiera said. Brianna left and Kiera took my ice cream tub away.
"Hey!" I yelled.
"Stop this now. You are a strong, independent woman, and you're crying over a guy. You're being pathetic! He cheated on you with Taylor, a bitch who looks like a clown with how much make up she wears. He lost you, not the other way around. Now we are gonna go to this party and have fun. Get up and get ready or I swear to God I will dress you myself," Kiera said.
"You wouldn't," I said looking at her. She put her hands on her hips.
"Try me," She said. I got up, knowing that she was completely serious now.
"I don't wanna," I whined as I got out my dark ripped skinny jeans and red halter top.
"Does it look like I care?" Kiera asked and looked at the bathroom door. I let out an exaggerated groan and slumped into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror, I was a mess. My hair was tangled and dirty, the product of not brushing or showering it for four days, and my old mascara and eyeliner are all over my face from crying, and it didn't help that I had ice cream stains on my over-sized shirt and sweatpants.
I got a quick shower and put my clothes on. I then curled my hair into perfect curls and put on my make up. If it wasn't for the dull look in my eyes, you couldn't tell I haven't left my bed for days. I walk out and Kiera cat whistles.
"Looking good," She said. I glared at her. Just because I'm going, doesn't mean I'm gonna be happy about it. And I'm gonna make damn sure she knows it.
"Come on," Kiera says and gives me my matching strappy red heels. I put them on and go down the stairs. I see my older brother Aaron.
"Wow Kiera, you got her to come out of her cave," Aaron said.
"Perks of being the best friend, you can threaten," Kiera said and smirked. I was about to say something, but Alex beat me to it.
"AARON YOU ARE SO DEAD!!!" Alex, my other brother yelled. He comes into the living room with pie all over his face. Aaron is laughing his ass off. Alex and Aaron's favorite thing to do is prank each other. Stupid twins...
"It looks good on you bro," Aaron said and chuckled. Kiera walks up to him and puts her finger down his face and licks the pie off her finger.
"Yummy," Kiera said. Kiera and Alex have this flirting thing going on. I don't know what it is but it is disgusting.
"That's not the only thing that's yummy on me," Alex said and smirked.
"Sister in the room! SISTER IN THE ROOM!!!" I yelled. Alex looks at me.
"You got her out of her cave," Alex said. Wow, really? Was I really that bad?
"Yes you were," Kiera said. Oops, I said that out loud.
"Okay Kiera, let's get to rolling," I said and got into Kiera's pink Lamborghini. Her parents are super rich because her mother is a model and her father is a song writer. Kiera literally jumped into her car, she has more finesse then moi, and started the car. Looks like there's no turning back...
