I was sitting in my rocking chair..I was 33 years old at the time. I know I'm older now. But I'm still as young as ever. I know I'm not like an old man sitting in a rocking chair, I just find them relaxing. While relaxing in my rocking chair a voice sprang out of no where " Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" Said a little boy who was now at my legs shaking them while he had the biggest smile on his face. This made me actually jump a bit. My eyes opened fast and I jolted up a bit. I looked around then down at my legs to see that little boy who is my son who also had that big smile on. I smirked a bit and chuckled " you little stinker..scaring me like that. You're in trouble now!" I picked him up and held him high in the air and laughed playfully. "Ahh! No daddy! Hehehe! I don't wanna be in trouble!" He cried out laughing holding his arms out like an air plane. This made me laugh more then I sat him down on my lap and gave him a big hug " alright my little air plane. You're not in trouble haha. " I chuckled and he gave me a hug back then he giggled like the cute little goober he is. " yay!" He laughed. I laughed too " so bucko. What are u doing up this late?" I raised and eye brow smirking seeing he was still in his pjs and it was about 10 o'clock too. He looked up at me and gave a nervous smile then a big confident one " I want u to read me your adventures again!" He said cheerfully. I chuckled then sighed playfully " again? Uuuugh but I've already told u a storyyyyy. Daddy is getting sleepy too..." I dropped my head and pretended to sleep then he squealed and laughed and pushed me " wake up sleepy daddy! Please read them again! All of them! " I opened one eye and sighed and smirked " alright alright I'll do it " I stood up and also held him in my arms then walked over to a book shelf. I reached up and grabbed a dusty old book from the top. After that I walked back to the rocking chair and sat down with my little boy in my lap " alright. U ready kiddo?" I asked as I looked down at him with a warm smile. He looked up at me and giggled then looked at the book " yes!" He smiled and snuggled in my arm. I laughed a bit then slowly opened the book " into the adventures we go then..." ~~~~~~~
