Aliyah French, known by most of the school, whether it be through communication or through wild rumors. She didn't like to make a name for herself, although what with having over 3 boyfriends this year, how could she expect not to create a reputation. Aliyah was a pretty looking girl, she wasn't the tallest only standing at about 5 feet, something she had been constantly teased for in elementary school. Her skin was smooth and lightly tanned, she had bright blue eyes and soft blonde hair to match. Aliyah was an active person, being toned in all the right places. Her lips were thin and were a soft cherry pink color. Her nails weren't in the best condition, being chipped and damaged by her several weekly sports practices. Her makeup was applied heavily around the eyes but softly everywhere else. This brought attention to her eyes, which she wore correction contacts for. Aliyah wasn't the type of girl to consider herself a player, in her own words, "she just wasn't ready to settle down yet." Despite this, the school had other names for her, typical things such as "whore" or "slut", "heart breaker", you name it she's heard it. Recently she had just dumped her 5th boyfriend Chad, they had been going steady for almost a year now. Her problem with him was that he was a clingy boyfriend, always around her and her friends, always at her house on the weekend. She was the type that enjoyed her freedom, being around someone like him had left her frazzled for quite a while. Despite all the school rumors, she remained cool and confident, playing it off as if nothing had ever happened. This was her regular approach with most breakups, let em down easy and move on with your life. After all, life is too short for her to be concerned by her love life. Strictly speaking, her grades were rather average, B's and below. As a kid she was considered a whiz kid, but as she moved into the higher grades sports became her priority and her studies were pushed away. Both her mother and father were well employed and had a steady income, she had one older brother and a pet Pomeranian puppy she had just received for her 17th birthday. Tomorrow would be her first day back since spring break, her and a few of her close friends had went on a trip to Orlando for the break. Although Aliyah was well known, she wasn't near reaching what one would consider popular any time soon. She was a generally kind and outgoing girl, but she preferred to keep to herself, letting the others around her be. She had known both her friends since the 7th grade, and they were her world. The three did everything together, from shopping, to partying, to hungover weekends together. She wasn't sure how she felt going back to school finally after an enjoyable spring break, it had gone by way too fast for her taste. Over the break the girls hit up tons of cool stores, along with working on their tans. Unlike a lot of girls in this day and age, she preferred to have an all natural tan, even if it did mean lying in the sun for hours on end. The only problem with that, was that now her back was completely fried. The sun had now set and what was once a golden glow in the sky, was now a purpleish color with blue undertones. The distant glow of the moon brightened up the sky as what was left of the sun faded away. Shutting the lights off, Aliyah closed her eyes, preparing herself for the day ahead of her.
...
Loud snores erupted from Aliyah's bedroom, her blonde hair hanging in front of her face like a waterfall. Switching from side to side violently, the girl groaned hearing the loud screech from her alarm clock. Sitting up and stretching, Aliyah rubbed at her eyes groggily. She slammed the power button on her alarm, instantly shutting it up. She pushed her bed head out of her face and climbed out of bed, she put on her blacked rimmed glasses and headed towards her closet. "What to wear, what to wear.." she mumbled under her breath softly whistling as she looked through her closet. After deciding what to wear, she pulled out a plaid flannel shirt with a pair of black ripped skinny jeans. She buttoned up her flannel, and tugged her jeans on over her undergarments. She looked in the mirror, smiling with a nod of approval. She walked into her personal bathroom, it was small but comfortable for one person. Taking out her hair brush she combed through all her morning tangles, setting down the hair brush she removed her glasses and put in her contacts. Blinking a few times at her now cleared vision, she opened up her makeup case and took out her daily routine wear. Dark blue eye shadow, black eye liner, black water-proof mascara, accompanied by a peachy blush and strawberry flavored chap stick. She did her eye makeup as precisely as she could, once she was done she took a step back admiring her eye makeup. She then ran over her lips with the chap stick, and applied the blush to her cheeks. Exiting her bathroom, she grabbed her school bag and slung it over her shoulder. It was scarily empty, not surprising considering she had left everything at school in her locker. Once she made it down the stairs, she decided to just skip breakfast and head right to school. She didn't require all that much food to perform regularly anyways. Unlocking her car, she threw her bag on the passenger side as she slipped into the driver's seat. She let out a long sigh before starting up her car and backing out the drive way, she turned on the radio, casually listening to the songs that were playing as she drove off. One hand on the wheel, she yawned groggily, still not fully ready to begin school once again. Reaching the school parking lot, she pulled into the closet one she could find and tossed her keys into her school bag. As soon as she climbed out, her eyes widened seeing all the returning students. She had almost forgotten how big her school was, her eyes scanned the scene pin pointing all the returning freshmans, sophomores, juniors, and don't forget the seniors. Tugging awkwardly at her sleeves she pushed her way through the crowds, ignoring obvious glares from some students she entered the school heading to her locker. Rolling her eyes at passerbys calling her obnoxious names, she increased her speed. Turning her head around in front of her for a minute, her eyes widened as she suddenly ran into an unsuspecting student, who seemed in just as much of a rush as she was. The girl's books and papers were instantly sent flying all over the hallway. As groups of students walked by, they ignored the papers, stepping on them causing them to become ruffled and crumpled. Aliyah turned to the girl she had bumped into, feeling slightly guilty for what had happened. The girl let out an annoyed sigh, gathering her papers and books together not once looking up at Aliyah.
