Waves lapping at the shore,
Trees creak as the breeze rolls by,
The smell of freshly fallen rain.Night air nipping at my ears,
I see the sunset,
The soft grass underneath my head. And the stars start shining,
Eagle's wings can be heard,
Like drums of the sky.The loon's chilling call,
Like the howl of the water,
The mist heavy. The lake now silent,
The moon is shining bright,
Like the eyes of a wolf. The cricket's conversation,
Like an eternal song,
The hammock sways. As the deer watch from the wood,
The sounds create a song,
The song of nature.
