Tick.Tock.Tick.Tock.
Stupid clock. I told myself as I was getting ready for school.
Since when did I ever care about school? I would always be late and my guidance counselor won't even mark me up.
I go down to the kitchen where I see a daily note on the table.
              Dear Ella,
Don't be late for school today again. Breakfast is in the fridge. It's turkey sandwich.
                                           Mom.
Nice mom I got there right? Turkey sandwich.... I like ham.
Anyways, after I grabbed the sandwich, I heard the phone ringing. I was heading for it, until it stopped. I looked to see who it could've been, and then I flinched. It was my dad. My parents had divorced when I was seven. My mom was a doctor and my dad was a lawyer. They both didn't have time for each other so they decided to split. My dad was the criminal, since he left me with my mom.
My mom wasn't any better.
She was barely in the house.
She never cared for me after the divorcement. All she says when she looks at me is "You're not supposed to be here."
I thought my dad would come back.
Yet, he never did.
