I can't believe it took almost an hour for us to leave the hotel. It took Gajeel about fifteen minutes to get ready. But once i started to get ready, it took ten minutes to shower, another ten minutes to dry my hair, five minutes to get dressed, and twenty minutes to get my supplies together. Why am I so slow today?
We get to the job site and ring the door bell. Nothing rings and nobody answers. We try again, same result.
"I swear, if this is a prank, i'm going straight home" Gajeel seems to be having a short temper today.
"Hold on, just wait a minute." I try to sound at least a little bit confident with my words. But it just came out as desperate.
We waited for thirty minutes and Gajeel almost blew the gate down. Thank goodness I got him to cool down. But after waiting another fifteen minutes, he started to walk away.
"HEY, where do you think your going." I understand that fact that we've been out here fo what feels like forever. But we still have a job to complete.
"We've been sitting out here forever with nothing, not even a peep out of that mansion." He slowly turned around, starring deep in my eyes. "DO YOU REALLY THINK ANYBODY IS COMING OUT." I never thought he would yell at me.
"F-fine, go ahead and do whatever you want." I was on the verge on crying, but i held them but enough to speak."I'll just stay h-here and wait a little longer." I was legit sitting in the square middle, in front of the gate.
"You cant just wait all day for this, don't you see it was just a prank."
"IT CAN'T BE." I accidentally let out a single tear.
