Majority of beautiful ladies in town,
receives a huge velvety box with a single stem rose...
...and of course, the invitation to the masquerade ball.
Did you received one?27th day of October 2015. Exactly five days on the night of the Halloween.
It was never a fine morning. The day is dark and sun's rays is gloomy. With the longing to see the sun, you might just wonder why birds were not singing gleeful melody across the tree branches. And the wind that blew were a little bit colder. Not to mention a little eerie too. If you needs explanation about that, maybe then it is because Halloween is coming near.
With the usual things to do, a girl living in the same village wakes up that one particular morning. She lives alone in a not so very huge house, a maiden. And to start her every day lives, she would love to see her garden first. Eager to touch the kiss of the early morning dew in the delicate petals of her well bloomed rose bushes. Literally, that maiden loves to breath the rose fragrance which brings delightness to her feelings.
"Good morning dear. Oh, you all look lovely....and even prettier today," she said and take a deep breath. With no one around, you just might wonder to whom she was talking. It was to her ornamental plants. To her rose bushes in bloom particularly being lovely in different colors. Especially the dark red one that seems to be smiling back at her. Call her weird or whatever kind you like. And her name, it is Sylvia.
When Sylvia stepped on her house threshold, that thing is already there. A huge velvety box in combination of white and black color, a piece of black folded paper that seems to be an invitation card in her eyes, and a single cut stem of red rose is lying on her doorstep.
"Beautiful..." Sylvia exclaimed in awe and gasp for her breath. She wasn't looking at the box-- but merely, she was staring at the rose. Call it absurd but for someone like her who has a garden and dozens of rose to filled her eyes everyday, seeing a single cut stem of that flower should be an ordinary one. But in puzzlement, Sylvia cant just take her eyes away from it.
"Is this for me?" her voice picking it up. The velvety box were not that heavy. Thinking all along, she was indeed right. That piece of folded paper is truly an invitation card. Must it be sended to her mistakenly? But to her bewilderment, the card bears her name. It was printed clear in italic letter as though proud to give emphazation to the letters that spelled her name. She reads it.
~~Miss Sylvia Marie,
......You are invited to the Halloween scare.
Come if you dare,
To the night of the masquerade ball. ~~With a curious hand, she find herself opening the box. But that just made Sylvia to gasped for her breath even more. For right there inside a box, a black colored victorian inspired gown lays waiting for to be fitted-- of course by her.
Yes. Sylvia Marie was just one among of them who had received the same invitation card to that guy naming Draco Damien. Which unlucky, no one knew is a vampire.
Thinking about Sylvia Marie, why her? Well, to say it right, she isn't that much pretty. But charming she is.
