We finally arrived to the park . " hey you find a place to sit and I'll grab the stuff ." Dave said opening his door " are you sure, I figured you might need some help " I said " No babe I'm fine, thanks though " he said grabbing all the stuff one by one stacking it . I got out the car and went looking for a place to sit . Unsurprisingly I chose under a cherry blossom tree . One of the most romantic places to sit down and eat a romantic lunch with the guy of your dreams . Now your probably like this hoe , but it's not like that I was with Dylan for almost 2 years my longest relationship ever . So the slightest things can easily remind me of when we were together . We ate lunch and played around a little with the volleyball he brought . I'm not really much of a volleyball girl , but I enjoyed the little things he did to impress me , but as far as I'm concerned he has already swept me off my feet . " So are you ready to go ?" He asked
" one minute I kinda wanna enjoy looking at your face before we go back into hiding " I giggled
We sat there for about an hour just looking at each other and admiring each other's company . It was liberating . I couldn't wait till I left this town , better I couldn't wait to leave this town with Dave .

I'm start to clean up the food and fold up the blankets . We walked back to the car. " hey babe , let's leave . " I said looking deep in his eyes . " what do you mean " he sung . " Let's leave town start a life together . I'll get my GED and you can teach at a school wherever we go ." I said holding his hand " baby , you know we can't do that . I wanna be with you Dannie but I don't want you to live in a lie . " he said as a tear rolled down his face " what are you trying to say " he looked down at his lap " you know . I love you so much this is killing me but I'm breaking the law and I would rather loose you then put your future in jeopardy . If I can wait for you , I think you can wait for me ." He said wiping the tears from my eyes .

We didn't say a word the whole ride home . We couldn't even look at each other , I still loved him so much . I didn't know what to do . He pulled up by the stop sign at the end of my street . We stared at each other . It seemed awkward but the love was still there . His eyes were filled with tears , it just made me cry even more " baby , I'm sorry I'm putting you through the this . You deserve better ." He said . I shook my head I had no words I just kept my head down . I didn't want him to see me like this . He lifted my head , I refused " no not like this , you can't see me like this " I said turning my head around covering my face . He grabbed my hands and pulled me closer " you are beautiful, even with those tears running down your face . " he said crying . Without hesitation our lips touched . It was mesmerizing .  " I love you Dannie don't ever forget that and if you need anything just know I'm here " he said " I love you too " we kissed one last time .
