Dear Target Girl,

I was searching,

I've searched for things my entire life.

You found me, quite literally.

You took my hand and ran, leaving behind my faults.

I ran with you through the aisles, jumping over fallen items, narrowly avoiding hurried strangers.

We caught our breaths, but you kept making me lose mine.

"What's your name?" I whispered.

You just smiled- your lips met my eager ones.

"I was lost." I said as we opened our eyes.

I was speaking truthfully, I was always a lost cause.

"Maybe you'll learn it soon." You said looking into my eyes.

"Why not now?" I asked, I needed to know.

"You'll find out someday, our paths will cross." You said before turning and walking away.

You turned and our eyes met, once more.

"If you get lost again, I'll just have to find you again."

Those were the last words you said to me.

I often find myself standing in the path where I was found,

Your footprints are burned into the ground.

I never found out your name-

And I often find myself trying to get lost,

However you left me with a map.

I can't help but wonder,

Maybe it's your turn to be lost.

Once again I am left searching,

searching for Target Girl.

Back story:

So I was upset, recent breakup. I went to target, if you don't know what that is, its a better version of Walmart. If you don't know what Walmart is, its a place where everything is sold. So basically friends couldn't help at this point, so i just drove to target for no reason. I was walking down the aisles when some girl ran up, took my hand, and ran all around target. She kissed me, I never found out her name. She was breathtaking to be honest, average in looks, but her soul man, she fixed me. A stranger. Cheesy as hell, but i never found her again, but i hope too. It's been almost a year, and im gonna go back to target on the same day and see if she's there. It's worth a shot.
