What's wrong with me?

Nothing. At all. That you can tell.

First I like to think that my heart has two sides. The evil. And the good. I always want to think that the good side is who I really am. But that's not it.

So what is wrong with me?

Who knows?

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Sage asked. I was doing push ups.

"Well, what did you expect?" I asked. My eyes were attempting to ignore the spider on the wall, the dying cockroach on its back and the constant ticking of the old broken clock Makara had her heart set on keeping.

"Something different..." He answered running his hand down his face.

"I'm not anorexic if that's what your asking. Or bulimic. If that's what your saying." I said frowning.

'Well, you do need to cut down on the exercising. Your getting to thin." Sitting up I scowled at him.

"You should know why I do this." He held his hands up. "Payphones have started to ring." I laid on my back and closed my eyes. I felt so tired. I rarely slept anymore.

"You really need some sleep." I shook my head.

"Nightmare will keep me up anyway. My bad keeping you up. I don't mean too." He nodded, "you lay down and sleep I'll be in the other room. I promise I won't leave." I stood up and walked into the big room.

I heard a slight shuffling in the alley window. "You can come through the opening." I said I was always more prepared at finding spies and junk.

"How do you do that?" She said climbing in through the window. I smiled.

"I don't know maybe ADHD." I said plopping down on the bean bag. I put my hand up to my forehead. My old friend J.J. stood in front of me. Her brown hair was in a rushed and tangled pony-tail. She had on the usual winter uniform for the troops(of the Order). A lightweight jacket and special made pants that could take on the winter. She wore modified combat boots that were made for any climate.

"You look absolutely awful," She observed me. I looked up at her with a sarcastic look. "Do not look at me like that!"

"Speak for yourself," I mumbled. "Were'd you get the uniform?" She smiled.

A few years ago J.J. had gone off by herself-from the base. The lone wolf -as she liked to call herself.

"My dad. He left in on our old porch," Her father was like an ad visor to mine." I don't care about him anymore. I just needed winter clothes. Since the climate is getting all wacky." I smiled.

"Why are you here?" I asked her. Her eyes widened in a guilty way.

"I didn't think you would ask that. Hum, I am here to deliver a message." I glared at her. " Don't worry no tracking devices, or anyone following me." She put her hands up. I relaxed.

"Good, they don't know about anything. Except for Sage." I explained. And an old friend leading the military to us and we have to fight out way out. That would be fun to explain.

"I know you still don't trust me," She said plopping down in a chair," I need you to trust me."

"And why should I trust you?" I asked my arms crossing. J.J. rolled her eyes.

"Because you were my best bro!" She said raising her voice.

I shushed her," They're sleeping, idiot! Do you really want to be up against four heavily-armed sleepy rouges?" She weighed her options and I guess she opted for the 'letting the sleeping rouges lie' option.
