Jade

Chapter 2

Now that Jade was on her own now, she was going to have to find a job and a place to stay. She could stay at a hotel but she knew that she couldn't stay long because the cost goes up each night. She was still on the bus and the bus stopped. They had stopped in Beverly Hills, which is outside of Los Angeles. Jade stayed on the bus while the others went to go to the bathroom. She grabbed her phone out of her pocket and her phone had twenty missed calls and twenty-five text messages. She didn't bother to read them so she deleted all of her message history. The people got back on the bus and started for Los Angeles.

Finally, Jade has arrived in L.A. First things first, she had to get her hair color changed so that she will never be found. She also took her piercings out and covered the holes up with a lot of foundation. Jade now has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a face without peircings. Now she needs to look for a job. The only place she found was McDonalds, "the worst job ever is the only job i can afford to have" Jade said. She grabbed an application and started filling it in. The only thing she couldn't do, is put in her social security. Her mother had it. But if she had her social, they will track her down. So she said her name was Jade McGlothlin. So she turned in the application without the social filled in and they said "we cant let you work here unless you have your social security on this application!" Jade walked away slowly with disappointment. "Wait!" The manager yelled out. "I can give you a job but it will have to be under the table." Jade smiled and they gave her the proper uniform.

Jade went back to the hotel where she was staying. She fooled around with her uniform and played fashion model while listening to Donatella! by Lady Gaga. The woman at the desk came to Jades room and they had a heart to heart conversation. Her name is Annabelle, she has grey curly hair, brown eyes, some wrinkles here and there but she sure knows how to hide it. They laughed and had a good time. "Whats that from?" Annabelle asked. Jade hid her arms and started crying. Annabelle gave her a hug and apologized.

Just then the news came on the TV about a missing girl from Miami Beach, Florida. They showed a picture of her and it was Jade. Annabelle looked at Jade and gasped. Jade packed her things and ran out the door. She ran out the hotel doors and runs into a boy and her stuff goes everywhere. He has long black hair, he is tall not too tall though, he has a well built face, and beautiful eyes that could make a girl melt. She picks her stuff up and he asks who she is. "Nobody important." She said and left for the streets of LA. The boy picked something off of the ground. It was her wallet. Which had her State ID in it, a hundred dollars, and a pack of gum. He put the wallet in his pocket and went inside.
