0.Prologue

Reilia Reading was hidden away soon after her mother was murdered by the famous Louis Tomlinson. She was protected by he life long love Dane Fairing. They struggled and nearly got caught several times. They built a small hut out of materials they could gather or purchase with little money. Humans were poorly treated and rarely could live pleasantly.

Years later Reilia was pregnant with her first child. She never left the small hut and read to her growing stomach. Like any mother she wanted her child to have a pleasant life and to be smarter than she was. Dane would come home and greet his lovely wife then go straight to sleep. Reilia wished she had a stronger connection with Dane like before when they were much younger, but many things have changed.

"Ahh" She hissed grabbing her swollen stomach

"Reilia?" Dane quickly ran in

"She's coming"

There was no way they could afford a hospital for only the rich humans could afford. As Reilia pushed and screamed enduring harsh pain as Dane helped deliver their bundle of joy. 4 hours later they had a small baby girl.

"Aislyn" Reilia cooed

The small innocent human being kicked no smiled in her mothers arm. Reilia grew so attached to the small child like any mother would.

She watched her daughter grow to love books just like her, and at the age of five she was already reading. Her mother had her most prized book by Robert Frost out and open as she read the words along with Aislyn. Dane was relaxing a few feet from them when a loud knocking interrupted them.

"Aislyn hide in your room and do not come out until we say!" Reilia Instructed

"But mommy" she pouted but soon obeyed

As Aislyn ran out Dane was quick to open the door. Standing in front of him was the notorious Louis Tomlinson. With a sly smile he walked past Dane and positioned himself in front of Reilia.

"It's been awhile since I've seen you Reilia" He smoothly said

"What are you doing here?" She angrily asked

"Feisty just like your mother I see. No welcome? Ahh rude"

"Louis why are you here" she spat

"To collect you. I spent many years searching for you, and now I've found you"

"No!" Dane interrupted

"Filthy human nothing but a bag of food and bones. I will enjoy you very much" Louis smirked grabbing ahold of Danes collar

"Louis! Wait I'll go with you but leave him" Reilia spoke up

"Now that's better" Louis smiled

"Take care of her" Reilia whispered into Danes ear

He noded as the tears flowed from his dim green eyes watching as his only love was taken away, and that was the last time he ever saw her.
