(Two Months Later)

(Zoe's POV)

I sit on the couch fiddling with my fingers. I always was anxious when Cordelia called a meeting. Especially at night. it was 7 and she usually let's us have the nights off so I knew this was going to be important.

I sat beside Nan and Queenie was on the other couch. We sat in silence until Cordelia entered the room.

She walked into the room with a new person, but instead of addressing that she gestered the girl to sit next to Queenie and then sat in her chair.

"Where's Madison" she asked. We all just shrugged.

"You girls are in great danger" she said. "As you all know my mother is the supreme and she is willing to kill every single one of you until she gets to stay the supreme".

I couldn't help but interrupt. "Why would she start killing us. None of us are showing supreme powers" I ask.

"Someone is. My mother has found out she has a form of cancer and she doesn't have much time to live." She answers.

"What does that have to do with us and who is that" Queenie asks pointing to the girl sitting beside her.

"As the new supreme grows stronger the old supreme grows weaker and eventually will die. My mother is going to try to get you girls to show your powers to her, but do not because she is ruthless and she will kill you. I want all of you to participate in the seven wonders. This will be held in two weeks. This means you girls have two weeks to study. Not all of you will make it, but id rather have a few of you dead then my mother killing us all. You are to keep quite about it don't even talk to each other about it."

We all looked at each other wondering which of us would die, and which one of us was the supreme.

"On a lighter note. Girls this Misty Day" she talks finally about the new girl.

"She posses the power of resurgence. She's going to be staying with us and she will be competing in the seven wonders. "

"Hi" she waved to us. Her hair was big, curly and blonde. She seemed nice. She was obviously from here her accent was strong.

"Can we go" Queenie asks.

"Yes you're free now" Cordelia says as she walks out of the room leaving us alone.

We sat in silence for a second then Queenie and Nan got up and left. I felt bad about leaving the new girl but followed by walking up the stairs to my room. I jumped on my bed laying flat on my back I had nothing to do because Kyle was at his stupid frat dance.

I sat up thinking about what Cordelia said could I be the next supreme?

(Kyles POV)

I looked in the mirror as I tied my blue bow tie. Tonight's going to suck. I grabbed my hair gel and slid it through my blonde locks. Why am I even trying to look good. I rolled my eyes and headed towards the door. When I got to the living room it was filled with people ready to go to the formal. "Kyle" I heard a screeching noise from the other side of the room. I waved to the head of zeta my date Jessica. She walked closer to me I glanced at her tight blue floor length gown with only one long sleeved shoulder leaving her other arm revealed. She had a rhinestoned crown pinned to it representing that she was Miss Tulane this year. "Your bow toe matches perfectly" she says with a smile. "Yeah the people at the shop did a good job" I smiled back at her. She was a nice girl blonde and gorgeous any guy would bend over backwards for Jessica and maybe I would have to if Zoe didn't exist in my life. "Earth to Kyle" she waved grabbing my arm. "Huh" "Sarah's taking our picture" "oh yeah of course" I say smiling to the phone in Sarah's hand. "One more" Jessica pleaded. I nod. She leans over and kisses me on the cheek and of course Sarah snaps the photo then starts laughing. "What" I ask. "You look mad Kyle" she giggles. "Yeah well I'm sure my girlfriend wouldn't enjoy someone like Jessica kissing me on the cheek" I was so annoyed. "Girlfriend?" Jessica asks. "Yeah she doesn't go here so she  couldn't come" I say. She nods understandingly. "I won't post that one then" she assures me.

When we arrive at the formal I put on a fake smile and act like I'm enjoying it. When honestly all I want to do is run to Zoe. I know she's bored and waiting for me. I wait until  eleven and I can't take it anymore I walk up to Jessica who was dancing next to her friends. "Hey I think I'm going to head out" I say over the music. "Are you sure I thought we could hang out later"she says. "I'm all burnt out sorry" I smile at her again she nods and I walk towards the lobby of the hotel.

"Kyle you're crazy for leaving Jessica" I turn around to see Blake super drunk behind me. "Dude I'm ready to go home. You go dance with her" I say back. "I would but I invited someone to crash the party" he said  enthusiastically. "You're not allowed to do that" "Kyle it's not a big deal" he said. "Whatever man" I say about to turn when he looks up "there she is" he says. "Madison" I say. "Lover boy" she questions me. "Whatever have fun" I say storming out.

I run down the street till I arrive at my truck. I immediately get in and drive to her. I call her no answer so I text her no answer. I roll my eyes.

The rain begins to pour as I reach the house. I pick up my phone and try to call her again no answer.

I walk up to the door and knock no one answers. Fuck it I know which window is hers. I pick up rocks and begin to throw them. My suit and tie are worn up but I'm waiting for her to come down I need to see her. I need to tell her.

I continue until I hear the front door open I turn my head seeing her head poke out towards me. "Kyle" she says I run to her kissing her soft warm lips. "You're soaked"she giggles. "Sorry" "come in"she says I followed her towards her room.

(Zoe's POV)

I tried walking so fast to the room so I could clean up all my spell books I was reading before I fell asleep. I rushed through the door and threw them underneath the bed.  Thank god I'm not ready for that conversation. I walked towards into the bathroom to get Kyle a towel.

"Here " I said handing it to him "thanks" he smiles.

"so why aren't you at the dance" I ask as I sit on the bed watching him dry off. "I couldn't wait till tomorrow to tell you this" he said. I was immediately filled with anxiety. I could fill my heart beating horribly fast.
"Zoe I got in" he said jumping up and running towards me. "What" I say I felt relief but still worry. "Belmont I got the letter were going" he says he was on his knees hugging my legs . "Im ready to leave it all behind and start over with you. My last exam is Monday let's leave Wednesday. I found an apartment and we can get settled in and be in Nashville for Christmas" he was super happy.  Then he looked up and noticed my face. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Nothing I'm happy. I just have to wait two weeks then we will go" I say to him with a smile. "I ready to start our life together" He smiles and kisses me. "Me too. I can't believe we're going to runway together" I say.  Unless I'm the supreme.
