Another Broken Star in the Moonlight

Chapter one

**Eleven years later**

Mihara's eye's fluttered open as she woke to her blaring alarm, She lay there for a few minutes before realisation hit her in the face. Quickly she jumped up and got changed into a blue tank top and black denim shorts.

She raced over to the small desk in her hotel and gathered up her things, she then went over to her alarm clock and saw that it was 8:30am. This means she had to be quick to continue her journey before it got too late.

I can't believe today is the day I finish my journey to the guild!

Mihara grabs her bags and a complimentary apple before hurrying out the door.

She was almost half way there and ready for a break, as it had been an awful long trip, when she stumbled across two girls walking on the same path she was currently walking on. They looked awfully familiar but Mihara couldn't think of how, so she decided to introduce herself and ask for help. They politely introduced themselves as Erza Scarlet and Lucy Heartfilia, Kaitlynn then introduced herself and then once again realisation hit her in the face. Theses girls were Erza and Lucy from the famous Fairytail guild. She took the chance and asked if they would take her in, Erza hesitated for a second but it seemed like Lucy convinced her somehow.

The three girls continued on their walk to Fairytail and once they reached it Erza pushed open the door and they all barged in. To no ones surprise Gray and Natsu were fighting once again. Erza just sighed but Lucy decided to shout out,

"Will you guys stop it for once! We have a new recruit!"

They suddenly stopped and looked Mihara's way, in fact everyone did and all Mihara did was wave and smile. This caused Laxus to chuckle and question his existence.

Gray walked up to Mihara, apologised then took her hand, leading her to the master. Mihara didn't know whether to be scared or to be happy so she just continued to smile.

Gray and Mihara finally reach the bar where master Makarov and Mirajane were sitting, Gray introduced Mihara as the hopefully new recruit that Lucy and Erza brought in. They both had a surprised look on their face when they heard that Erza was a part of this and instantly shooed Gray away, beckoning for Mihara to come closer. Mihara did so and the master asked,

"So dear, what might your ability be?"

She shyly smiled and put her hand out flat and her other in a fist on top and beckoned her ice power to come, after all she did have the ability to freeze anything, and with her technique on ice-making she knew how to summon upon animate ice objects to use in fights. She decided this time to summon an ice puppy. Gray gasped when he saw the creation and he thought,

I bet that I could do better than her.

Gray stood up and walked over to Mihara. He stops in front of her and rips his shirt off, flexing his biceps. He then steps forward until there are only a few inches between the two.

"Nice power you have there, i should know; i have the same one. I bet i am more powerful than you though as i was taught by the ice maker mage Ur!"

Mihara smirks slightly but steps back a little,

"Oh really? Bring it on then."

Everybody takes this opportunity to step back away from the two, knowing this will end bad. Gray steps back and extends his arms forward, creating long, curved ice lances that he shoots towards Mihara. Mihara smirks and quickly creates a large shield made of ice in front of her, leaving the ice lances to collapse to the floor. Gray was about to attack again but Erza jumps in the middle of them.

"Wow Mihara, to think i thought you were a good recruit, how can you come in and attack a guild member like that?"

Gray steps towards Erza,

"Erza, don't you dare! I was the one who attacked her first." Gray then pushes past Erza and walks up to Mihara, "You are a fairly good ice mage i would have to say, however i am looking forward to testing your abilities even further another day."

After Gray moves away from Mihara Master Makarov moves in,

"Ahh Mihara, you have displayed some uncanny abilities that i would love to see in more depth some day, i believe you have deserved the right to become a guild member. However, you will need to join Team Natsu along with Gray, Erza and Lucy."

Mihara nodded and smiled then shook Makarov's hand, she didn't worry about the condition as she was just filled with joy that she was actually in a guild. The Fairytail guild to be exact, this was her chance to finally avenge her father's death and defeat Zeref once and for all.

Makarov walks back over to Mirajane and whispers something in her ear, she then walks out and comes back in two minutes later with something in her hand.

Mihara lifts her right brow in confusion when Mirajane wanders over to her. Mirajane opens her hand and shows Mihara the stamper for her mark. Mihara nods and points to her shoulder then Mirajane stamps her shoulder, leaving a blue Fairytail symbol on her shoulder. Mirajane then walks back over to Makarov.

Mihara then walked over to where Erza and Lucy were standing and said 'hey', only to realize that next to her stood an undressed Gray. She squealed then quickly covered her eyes and heard Lucy shout at Gray to put some clothes on, Mihara swore she heard Gray gasp like he didn't even notice they were off.

But that couldn't be possible, you had to know if you were taking your own clothes off wouldn't you?

Well... Then again Fairytail is known for being full of strange things happening, Mihara realized she would have to get used to that and so she just smiled yet again.
