After homeroom, Allison and Gabe went to their 1st period ,Chemistry. Gabe and Allison sat next to each other. The teacher walked in and asked which one was Allison Ackerman. Allison raised her hand slowly. 'Welcome to Muse High School'. "Okay class, we will today do a experiment. Your partner is the one you are sitting next to." Gabe looked at Allison. 'Your lucky, you have the best student in this class.' 'In​​ this class' said the teacher. The class cracked up and so did Allison. Gabe turned around so people don't see him blushing. The rest of the day was a fantastic day for Allison. Everyone was nice to her. They even showed her all the tricks the high school has.They showed her how to get extra food but banging the machine a certain way. It was all going great until Lunch time.

Allison was in line to get her food. Allison got cheese pizza, a carton of milk, and a cookie. After she paid, she was walking to sit a table that was available. From the corner of her eye, Allison saw Gabe and Sara waving and Sara yelled ' Over here Allison'. As Allison walked to the table, she tripped and the food went on a girl close to her. When Allison got up. she saw pizza and cookies on the girl. ​​​She's pretty. She has a low black shirt that showed ​​​way ​​​too much cleavage and about 1 pound of makeup, ​​​though Allison. The girl was mad. " Do you know who I am? Im Becky and I am the top of this high school. You should be on your knees, kissing my feet and beginning for mercy." ​​​What makes her so important. Is she the queen of this whole school ​​​thought Allison. "You took like a year to answer so I won't forgive you and make your life a living hell." said Becky. Becky stormed off and slammed the bathroom door as hard as she could. Allison just walked on as everyone watch Becky leave. Allison sat down at the table where Sara and Gabe was at. "Do you know who you just made angry" said Sara. ​​A diva,​​ thought Allison. ' You just made the person who can make your high school life a living hell mad. Becky is what people call the boss. If you make Becky upset, you make her followers upset. But don't worry, Sara and I will protect you.' said Gabe.

After school, Allison was texting her mom that she just got out of school. As she was texting, she heard some people whispering in the background. She looked up and saw a group of girls whispering and pointing at Allison. Allison just ignored them. Soon, a girl from the group came over and throw Allison's books on the ground. ' You don't belong here.' As Allison picked up the books, she would slap them again. " Don't pick them up, you nasty little girl.' Allison picked up her books once more and as the girl was ready to hit Allison, the girl hand was caught from a guy behind her. There was a gasp and then a squeal. The guy who grabbed the girl's hand was the popular kid. His name was Emerald. H had the looks, the eyes and the body. The girl turned around to see who had grabbed her. When she saw who it was, she nearly fainted. 'Why are you being so mean to our new student.' he said in a deep yet smooth voice. The girl was in shocked that she didn't respond. She walked away, smiling and i'm shocked that Emerald had touched her. " I'm sorry about that. You have to be careful who you are around." he said. 'My name is Emerald. You're Allison, right?' 'Ya. Thanks for making her stop.' Emerald just nodded and walked away. ​​He's weird. I wonder where he come from? ​​she thought. Allison's mom came and picked her off. Allison thought about Emerald for the rest of the day.
