"YAAAA!" A thud and a tear could be heard as the young woman fell knee-first into the ditch. Almost immediately did she look around after recovering from the fall, which was surprisingly fast. Her knees hurt, but she ignored it. Probably scraped, maybe bleeding, she'd bandage it later. Looking down, she noticed her dress had torn."Scarlett, what is wrong with you?" the woman mumbled to herself.
Scarlett looked up. The ditch wasn't something caused by cars or anything similar. It looked... man made.
That's when she heard a clang, iron bars trapping her in the ditch, all happening too fast for her to realize. Scarlett's eyes widened, like a deer caught in headlights, dark brown orbs screaming for help. Then they narrowed, and a snarl erupted like an earthquake.
Scarlett threw herself against the trap, hurling with all her might, ignoring any pain that came with it. No effect. Scarlett panted, her body growing tired. Her eyes began to close, snapped open, and closed again. Before she knew it, she was asleep.
