Unforgettable "First Love"

Part 6

Kyle's POV

We were already sitting at the dining table when their parents arrived with a big pizza with them. They seemed shocked at first when they saw me, it's like they have seen a ghost or something, but when Krystal introduced me to her parents, their reaction immediately changed. Her parents were so welcoming and they even said that they have been waiting for Krystal to introduce a guy to them.

"Dad how about me, aren't you excited for me to bring someone one home?" Zircon interrupted

"No son, I already feel sorry for the girl." Their dad joked.

"Dad, that's just mean." Zircon said with a pouty face.

"Don't you worry, Kyrie will always love you." Their mom answered and kissed Zircon on his cheeks "Where is the little angel anyway?"

"She's already sleeping Mom, she was really tired, my friends just kept playing with her, even my professor won't stop hugging her." Zircon answered while grabbing a slice of the pizza

I guess Kyrie is the little girl that Zircon was carrying when he arrived earlier. Does Zircon have a kid already? Doesn't he want to enjoy bachelor's life?

After dinner Krystal and I were left in the kitchen, she volunteered to do the dishes, while his brother is doing his home work; their mom is helping their dad to get ready for bed. She was cleaning the plates off the table, so I helped her.

"You have a real simple family." I started

"Yeah, this is all that I have. How about you?" she asked.

"Well I grew up here, my dad has a business in London so I went there for a few years, and now I'm back here doing business." She started to do the dishes, so I stood beside her, my back is on the kitchen sink.

"You're like someone that I used to know." she said and suddenly stopped a bit and stared at her bracelet for a while and then continued like nothing was mentioned.

"Who?" I asked out of curiosity. I'm guessing its the guy that he mentioned when she was sleeping.

"Nobody." she answered plainly. She's hiding it. But why?

"Who is Gel, Krystal?" I asked, because that's the name she mentioned.

"..." now she has this blank expression on her face. I should not have opened that topic. "Uhm I'll just rinse these dishes. " I said pointing to the dishes that she already washes with the dishwashing liquid. I just need to change the topic.

"Uhm do you know how to do it?"

"Of course. Not because I have my personal nanny at home doesn't mean I don't know how to wash the dishes."

Krystal's POV

Just the mention of his name is still like a dagger being pierced to me. He made his decision and I also made mine although it was unfair, doesn't mean that it was easy for me.

I'm putting the last plate on the drawer; thanks to Kyle we lost one plate. I asked him to just sit still on the chair while I just finish the few more things that I need to do.

It was already 9:30 in the evening when I got all of the things done. I took two glasses from the drawer and poured us some milk, although I know that Kyle would really prefer coffee but it's already late at night, then I got us a box of cookies from the refrigerator and served it in front of him.
