"Ingat ka, yaya."
"Opo." She smiled at the elderly lady.
"At bumili ka lang ng chewibols ko ha? Walang iba." The old woman looked at the her maid.
"Syempre po Lola." Yaya Dub smiled again. She waved goodbye to her dearest Lola Nidora as she went to the store to buy her mistress the 'chewibols'.
On the way the light streaked across the sky as the thunder roared. Little droplets of rain fell down, staining the roads and streets wet.
Yaya took out her phone and earphones and pluged them to their rightful places and began listening to music as she opened her umbrella.
"Anubayan, baha nanaman dito." She sighed as she was crossing the road to the store, lost in her own thoughts at the beat of the music she was playing.
Suddenly, the all too familiar song played in her phone.
God gave me you, to show me what's real.
'Cuz there's more to life than just how I feel.
She smiled at the thought of her crush.
Alden Richards.
She remembered the first time she saw him looking at her, smiling, his cute dimples showing.
But now, they're having a wild card round for the 'Pamore Contests'.
Her thoughts were cut off by the deafening sound of the truck.
She just realized that she was in the middle of the road.
The trembling maid closed her eyes accepting her fate but only to be met by a cold wind hitting her face as strong arms carried her.
"Gah!" The girl opened her eyes to meet a familiar, good-looking face gazing back at her.
"Dub?" Alden asked the beautiful lady looking at him.
"Alden?" She replied back, confusion in her voice but she couldn't but smile.
She couldn't believe that she was looking at Alden, the boy Lola Nidora wouldn't allow Yaya to meet.
But, what about now?
Lola would always sayeverything comes at the right time.
Could today be the tamang panahon?
Or was destiny losing its patience?
After what seemed like forever; Alden looked at the girl's foot.
"Ay! May sugat ka!" He exclaimed, quickly carrying the girl up to the nearest waiting shed as the rain grew stronger.
Yaya Dub looked down at her foot to noticed the wound that must've scrapped at the rough road.
Alden laid the girl down and quickly bought a bandage in a nearby store.
The man came back with a pack of them and some medecine.
He began wrapping the bandage aroung Yaya's foot as the girl kept silent.
"You shouldn't really be out in the rain like that. Lost in your thoughts while walking across the road. O, tingin mo, nagkasugat ka pa."
She smiled. "Thank you nga pala."
Alden returned her smile.♡♡♥♡♡
"O yaya, ang tagal mo naman." Lola eyed the maid's foot.
"O, anong nangyari dyan?"
"Wala po yan." The girl smiled.
"Are you sure Yaya? Okay ka lang? Umupo ka muna."
"Okay lang po ako, besides, I got quite the cutie to aid me." Yaya's smile grew larger.
Ba-bye!
(Yeah, yaya speaks over here!)
