I woke up and the ceiling was white. I knew it. I was in the hospital and I felt like I was gonna die. I opened up my eyes and my parents were sitting right next to me crying. I softly said "mom dad is that you?" My mom lifted up her head and hugged me the she yelled "nurse she's awake my daughters awake !!" I looked around and didn't see Emily. "Mom" I said in a soft voice "yes sweetie" mom answered with a confused look "wheres Emily?" I said starting to tear up. "Honey i'm sorry Emily didn't make it. "NO!!!!" I cried. I couldn't believe it, my best friend was gone and now everything is torn apart. I closed my eyes and hoped this was a dream when I opened my eyes I still was in the hospital. "Honey it's okay " my mom whispered. "No its not okay mom no its not" I cried. I closed my eyes and my head hurt so much. I felt like nothing with Emily, great I thought I have to go to school tomorrow what am I gonna tell everyone "sorry emily is dead" I thought.
