WARNING! A BREIF MENTION OF BULLYING and MOULIN ROUGE SPOILERS! I also changed the date of this to a Friday because it works better with the story.
"Wow this place is impressive" Kurt said.
"Haha thanks, but not as impressive as your car radio skills," I said trying not to sound smug. I could see Kurt laugh so I knew he was feeling slightly comfortable in my presence. "So where do you want to sit?"
"Um the bean bags look great"
"Fantastic!" We sat down facing each other, we moved another bean bag in the middle to place the platter on. "So Kurt, tell me about yourself, anything you want, I'm all ears."
"Well as you know, my name is Kurt Hummel and I attend William McKinley high school. I'm a junior and I'm in the New directions which is the glee club. My dad owns a tire shop and my mum died when I was eight, My middle name is Elizabeth and my dad is called Burt. I have a step brother called Finn who is also in the Glee club and he's dating my best friend Rachel, I'm not really sure what's going on with them at the moment but I know they started dating a few weeks ago. Finn's mom met my dad and they fell in love. I set them up because I used to have a crush on Finn and it was an attempt to get us closer, this failed because Finn is as straight as and arrow." I chuckled, but Kurt gave me a look so I stopped and let him carry on. "Now I think it was a hilariously bad idea but back then it was genius. My best friend Mercedes used to have a crush on me and when I told her 'I had a crush on Rachel' she threw a rock in my car, of course at the time I didn't want everyone to know I was gay so I made up this whole lie about Rachel. When I finally told people I was gay one guy named Dave Karofsky had a problem with it, every time I see him in the corridor he shoves me or shouts rude remarks at me." My face fell. How could someone want to harm a wonderful human like Kurt?
"I'm so sorry Kurt.......... I shouldn't have asked."
"No its fine, really Blaine, I needed to tell someone about it." I placed my hand on his comfortingly and offered him a cookie. He happily nodded and nibbled on it quietly. God he was adorable. Wait what?! I mean um...... nice! But oh lord would it be nice to hug him right now. Come on Blaine you've only known him for a few hours, oh to hell with it, like my grandfather always said 'risk it for the biscuit'. I leaned in with my arms wide open and wrapped them around his body. This felt good and within seconds I felt Kurt's arms wrap around mine. Kurt smelt absolutely delicious, he smelt of a freshly picked bunch of flowers but I could also smelt a hint of Jasmine. Right, I should defiantly light my candles. After I lit the candles we decided to watch a movie. We decided on 'Moulin Rouge!' because I found out that Kurt loves musicals and I just love that film.
The film started and it was great, I had gone down to collect popcorn right before it started so we sat down eating that. During Satine' s lines I could hear Kurt tut every time her fashion choice wasn't 'on point', this was going to be a start of a great friendship. During Ewan McGregor's performance of 'your song' I started to sing alone and Kurt just sat there watching.
"You have a wonderful voice," Kurt told me.
"Thank you! While I was downstairs getting the popcorn mum mom said you can stay round for the night or just stay for food, just in case staying round someone's house on the day you meet them is strange," I chucked
"Um, well I'll have to ask my dad but staying round sounds great." Kurt smiled.
"Right I'll get my mum to order pizza! Is cheese ok?"
"Absolutely perfect!"Mom,
Kurt would love to stay, I'll set up the den into a bed and we will have a cheese pizza.
Blaine."Why didn't you just tell her in person?" Kurt asked
"Downstairs is too far away!" I moaned playfully. "What did your dad say?"
"He said it's fine"
"Fantastic!"As it got to part when Satine and Christian were singing 'come what may' both me and Kurt sang along, taking turns with the parts. At the end of the song Kurt finally spoke.
"It's always been a dream of mine to sing this at my wedding," I chuckled at this comment, god he's adorable. Yes I said adorable, who wouldn't say that about Kurt? "I know, I know it's stupid,"
"No it's not stupid it's adorable." Damn it!
