"Friend Raven aren't you going to say hi to Beast Boy?" asked Star.

Raven looks up from her book. She glances at me. My heart starts to beat faster, and faster.

"Hey" she says. Then waits for a reply.

"H-h-hey" I stutter.

Raven goes to her room. My heartbeat starts to return to its normal speed.

"Come on Beasty, your room is this way." Cyborg explains

"Thanks!" I say. I enter my room and dump all my stuff out. I put everything away and set up my bed. I curl up into a ball and transform into a cat. It is more comfortable to sleep that way.

I wake up the next day put on my clothes. I walk into the living room to see Raven laying on the couch with a book, every once in a while she gives a little smile. She looks so effortlessly beautiful. I need to talk to her! Let's see I now she likes that book about dark stuff! "Hey, uh, Raven."

She glances up from her book and pushes the hair out of her face then tucks it behind her ear. "Oh hey."

"I was just wondering. You don't have to say yes, or anything, it's just." I am cut off by the crime alert.

"Come on Beast Boy!" Raven picks me up and flies out the door.
