Chapter 3: Breaking Point

David's POV
After yesterday I am so upset watching her like this. It is too unbearable to watch. I really think today I should help her be happy again and find someone.

Eventually after some thought, he decided to give her a ring to see if she was busy. Slowly he dialed the number wondering what would happen. After a few rings, she answered "Hello David! What do you need?" He quickly replied excitedly "Hello Alesha! I was wondering if you had any plans today?" She took a minute to think and said "I actually do not. Why are you asking?" David didn't know how to tell her so he just said "I wanna surprise you with something! Can I pick you in a few to talk?" Alesha was hesitant but then chuckled and said "Sure David. I will see you soon."

Then they hung up and David got ready and drove off. Eventually he got to her house and patiently waited for her arrival. He beeped the horn and she opened the door smiling. As she walked closer to the car, David was smiling happy to see her as always.

She opened the passengers side and gave him a quick hug. She asked "Where exactly are we going & why?" David turned his head and said "You will see just buckle up and wait for the surprise." She smiled and then they drove off.

David's POV: Wow, she looks beautiful today. I mean when isn't she stunning. Her smile is gorgeous, her eyes look like stars, and her hair looks amazing. I don't understand how a girl like her can't find herself beautiful.

Eventually they parked by a local park and she asked very confused "David... Why are we at the park?" He smiled and said "Today we are looking for a guy for you!" Alesha laughed and said "David you don't have to its alright!" David turned to her and said "But I know I should. You are a beautiful woman and deserve happiness. So please let me do this." Alesha looked at him and said "Thank you for caring David, it means a lot. You care about me so much and I don't know what I would do without you. I just don't think it is a good idea. I'm sorry David." She hugged him and got teary eyed but didn't want to ruin her makeup so stopped herself.

David then looked at her and said "Why won't you let yourself be happy? You being happy is important to me and I just wish you would listen." She looked down and said "Because I don't know if I can be happy. I just don't feel like a guy would want me." David put his hand on her shoulder and said "Alesha, you're beautiful. Trust me you are. I would never lie about that. You will find someone that loves you and I know it will happen soon."

She looked up at him and had a tear running down her cheek. He wiped it away and hugged her tight. Eventually they just sat there hugging. After a few minutes of silence, she looked up and got off his shoulder and said "Thank you David. Thank you for always being there for me." David smiled and said "Anything for you love." Eventually after that, David and Alesha didn't realize they were meant to be together or loved each other just yet. But eventually, they will...
