I took my receipt, and walked out the door, grinning like an idiot.
"Well that took long. Did you get lost on your way back?", my mother said impatiently.
"No...I just...I met a girl." I grinned at my mother who now rolled her eyes and started smiling.
Thomas who was already awake and chugged down his drink within a few minutes, was wide awake as ever started smiling, "Johnny's got a girlfriend...Johnny's got a girlfriend.
K-I-S-S-I-N.....".
I glared at Thomas from the rear view
mirror and Thomas immediately looked away.
"Well why don't you look at that, first day here and my son's already made himself a lady friend", said my mother who pulled up to the driveway of our new home.
"Home sweet home", I said as we took our bags and headed for the door.
