For the next few weeks, I avoided Harry like the plague. I could see it in his eyes that he wanted to say something to me every time he saw me, so I just either turned the other way and left, or ducked into the girls' bathroom.

It was a bother, but I really didn't want to talk to him at all. Especially not after the things I said.

"Hey Charlotte! You coming?"

Dianna waved for me to follow her. Two girls flanked her side. Su Yin Lee had almond eyes, and the longest, silkiest black hair that seemed to shimmer every time she moved. The other girl, Aaliyah Aabadi wore a light pink hijab, and was one of the most beautiful girls I had ever seen- dark eyes, creamy skins, high cheekbones, the lot.

And to top it all off; Dianna, was without a doubt, gorgeous.

It made me feel like a weed in a bunch of flowers to be honest. How could normal people be so hot, damnit!

"Coming!" I called, quickly grabbing my simple sandwich out of my hefty bag, before jogging up to join them.

We all fell into step as we made our way to our spot; underneath a big, sprawling willow tree in the main courtyard. I stretched out my limbs, as I sank into the soft grass below. It was hot, but a cool breeze danced around us, making the heat bearable. The shade from the tree also helped; its shadows cocooning us from a lot of the heat. Students sat in clusters all across the courtyard. Some were laughing about certain happenings or a joke they shared, some were eating their lunch like they had never eaten before, and others had their noses in notes, no doubt diligently studying for a test in the following period.

Speaking of tests...

"So how did you go on that maths test?" I asked the group curiously as I took a bite out of my sandwich. I died a little inside- my culinary skills definitely haven't made any improvement since I started to live alone.

"I failed it. Big surprise there," Su Yin rolled her eyes, tossing her hair back. "Who cares what I get anyway- I already have a modelling job lined up."

Dianna shrugged. "Eh, did okay, I guess."

She turned to Aaliyah.

"What did you get? 100%?"

Aaliyah blushed a little, before nodding.

"Wow! That's amazing!" I exclaimed.

It was a pretty hard test. Calculus was going to be the death of me.

"It isn't really," Aaliyah said modestly. "If you just get the hang of it-"

"Okay! That's enough of that boring nerdy stuff," Dianna interrupted, glaring at Aaliyah, who just ignored her, and continued eating. "Let's talk about you and Diego, Su Yin?"

Su Yin just stared blankly at Dianna.

"What about me and Diego?"

"Oh come on!" the undeniable leader of the group prodded. "I know you guys had a date last night! Did you kiss? Make out?"

Su Yin sighed, as if the whole world was just a bother.

"Yeah."

Aaliyah squealed, but Dianna wasn't satisfied.

"Oh please. That's hardly an answer-"

She suddenly cut off, but then smirked.

"It's okay, I'll just ask Diego."

A tanned boy was strolling towards us, his hands casually planted in his pockets. His green eyes seem to hold an air of confidence to them, and his tousled dark locks tickled his shoulder blades.
