Kay, Neo and Livia were seated in the backseat of their car on their way back to Accra. Nobody spoke but neither did they need a seer to tell them their trip had been ruind big time. Neo, on the other hand was no longer angry. He was so consumed with worry he couldn't sit still. Infact right now he'd probably sign his life away just to make sure Sarah was safe. Originally, he had wanted to go to Holy Trinity to look for her but Kay had restrained him. Instead, Kay had called the manager of the spa. He had confirmed that the Dreamz team had stayed longer than scheduled but he informed them that the team had wrapped up their shoot on sunday and by afternoon, all the people from that production had left the spa.
It was monday morning, obviously something must have gone wrong because the trip from Sogakope to Koforidua did not take 24 hours. Her phone now was not even going through so they were going back to Accra to file a missing person complaint with the police headquarters and then Neo planned to travel to Sogakope and search for her.Neo was still deep in worry when his phone rang.
"Hello" he greeted when he picked up the call.Nothing could describe the overwhelming emotions that bombarded him when Sarah's voice answered back.
"My God! Sarah where are you? Are you okay? Hell, do you know what I've gone through this past 24 hours that i've not heard from you?"At the mention of Sarah's name Kay and Livia had their attention fully trained on him.
"I'm sorry Neo for putting you through so much. You won't imagine what happened to me.
My car broke down somewhere on the highway after Atimpoku so I called Lyon. He got to me after two hours. He advised me to lock up my car and leave it there. Said he would get a tow truck to get it to a mechanic then have it delivered to my home in Accra. Instead of dropping me off at a nearest bus station, he insisted he would drive me to Koforidua. Can you believe we spent 9 hours drving around because the fool didn't know the way to Koforidua and his GPS was faulty? We ended up booking a hotel to spend the night since it was obviously useless driving around that late. Then when I decided to call you I realised that i'd left my phone and my purse in my car. It was just awful.""So where are you now?"
"I'm calling you from my hotel room. Right now i'm waiting for Lyon to get ready so he can bring me to Koforidua."
"Look here, forget that guy. Give me the directions to where you are and I will send someone for you." Neo said. He had never liked that Lyon of a guy but he tolerated him because Sarah insisted on working with him. But what he could not tolerate was the thought of his woman in the company of that guy, alone and in a hotel.
"That is a great idea but why don't you let your person pick me at Fise station. From what I gathered it's not too far from the hotel. It would save some extra miles for that person."
"Hmm. Okay. I'm sending someone over immediately. See you soon. I love you."
"Love you too." With that she hung up.
Kay and Livia had heard one side of the conversation enough to make accurate guesses. Neo filled in Sarah's side before he suggested that they turn back to the country house so he can send the driver to pick Sarah up.
Even though both he and Livia were relieved that Sarah was safe and not in anyway hurt, Kay did not agree with his brother's idea to turn back to the country house. He believed it an unnecessary burden on the house keeper who had already locked up the house and left to her family. It was also a waste of time since the drive back would take at least an hour if they managed to beat traffic. The earlier they released the driver the faster he could return with Sarah. By God's grace, he managed to convince Neo of this.
So thirty minutes later, their car parked infront of the first suitable hotel they came accross. The moment they stepped into the reception, the whole place went wild. The people in the reception start screaming NK and before they know it those in the hotel bar and restaurant rushed in and everything was just crazy. By grace, the hotel secuirity stepped in and took control of the situation. They restrained the people while the hotel manager took the group to his office.
