The Little Girl was seen running along with the older boy pulling her along behind him, seems to be running and their pantings seems to be endless.Their footsteps are the only source of the dark broken underpass as it echoes,
"B-brother,i can't hold on much longer--" The brunette girl managed to speak between her heavy breathings.
"No no,we have to keep running!" However, the darker-haired male don't even bother to look at her and in his mind,is the only way of escaping from those hideous and monstrous creatures aftering them not too far behind.
Her little foot came to its limit as it went wobbly for a second there, and eventually make the girl to tripped over the unseen hole on the ground-her hold within his hand lets go and she fell outwards onto the floor.
"Arisa!" He stopped, quickly pulling her up before they could reach them.
"Big brother, it-it hurts.." he heard her sobs as his eyes traveled down to see her both knees that has been scraped by the rough surface of the ground.
"Get onto my back, hurry." he says, and she hesitates no more-jumping onto his back and so he quickly scurried her over a narrower dark room.
His eyes scan his surroundings from the help of a little sun light from a hole could be seen above the ceiling,so little.
Finally, his eyes caught a small gap between a wall and a giant plank-small for him but fit enough for his precious little sibling.
He went over and scoot her gently to go inside of it.They went over the plank and making sure not to be seen from the outside;but he knows for sure they can escape safely.
"Arisa, you see there? The bright light behind you," he pointed out,and the smaller figure tilt her head behind to actually see the green grass and trees from the gap.
She nodded;
"I need you to run outside there, then run as fast as you can. Go look for help and remember, stay out of sight when you hear a--?"
"A footsteps!" she cheerfully answered. Earning a ghost smile appeared across his lips.
"That's my girl." His large hand patted her head, before pulling the figure into a hug-the tight and longing hug he will never let go.
"Big brother?"
"I--promise Father and Mother to look out for you..But i--" He pulls away, his onyx eyes fixed into hers but she notices something unusual-with the tears brimming on the corner of his eyes as his lips trembles along.
"I'm sorry,Arisa. Go and live your life, fulfill it."
"B-brother.." her small orbs widened, finally knowing his full intentions of bringing her here, pointing out the gap to the outside world.
"I will always love you, remember that." He leans forward, placing a soft longing kiss on the box of her head before standing up straight-fists clenches on both of his sides.
"Go," he said, barely as a whisper.
However,Arisa stayed crawled on her spot, did not want to move at all.The thought of losing her one and only loving family will surely torn her apart.
"N-no no! Take me with you big brother, please!"
"I SAID GO!" his sudden roared voice tone caused her to flinch.
Starring at his figure one last time, she pulled her lips into a straight line and whirled around, crawling underneath the plank as quick as she could into the gap full of light.
She heard his footsteps fade away in the process, and right as she almost got out of the dark room, the sound of screaming and yelling in pain as well as agony filled her eardrums, leaving the little girl to froze on her spot.
