Master and Doctor.
As children, they were marvellous friends, The Doctor and The Master. They would play on the ruby-red grass of Gallifrey and roll down the luxurious hills. They were inseparable. They would pull pranks on their teachers and family. And if one of them got caught, they would always say it was them and them alone, who had played to prank.
Then came the day, the day each Child of Gallifrey has to face. The day they look at the time vortex, some feel inspired, some run in fear. But in The Masters case it drove him insane. He stared hear the sound of drums in his head. Four continuous beats repeating for all time. The Doctor was worried about his friend. He tried to help but The Master started to take The Doctor's name too seriously. He thought he was only there to make him stop thinking about the drums, he forgot all about the happiness they had shared together. The more The Doctor tried to help, the more he would fight back, and the more the louder the drumming would get. This made him associate The Doctor with pain. One day he took his TARDIS and ran, and he didn't stop running.
Then came the Time-War. The Timelords fought for a long time, too long to count. But in all the fighting The Doctor got scared and ran as well, so that was it, The Doctor and The Master the only Gallifreyans left in the universe, and The Master stayed away from The Doctor, and The Doctor was sad and angry at his old friend fro deserting him so would not go looking for him. But little did they know that throughout all time and space they would still meet. And they would meet for one final time, on Malsera.
The doctor has been travelling alone for some time now, and was getting lonely. He decided to visit some dead planets to think about what he was going to do, but just as he was setting flight coordinates, the TARDIS went haywire. It was flying in all directions and sent The Doctor crashing all around. Then it just stopped dead. Slowly, The Doctor got up and walked to the door. He opened it a crack and peered out. He was in shock. He was on Malsera, one of the first planets in the universe and the most dangerous for a Time Lord to even be near. It was so dangerous because it was so old, possibly before time even started. It could have a terrible effect on the TARDIS. It could make it not function anymore, it could make it change it's interior infinitely, no longer letting anyone in, or it could even burn out the heart of the TARDIS.
The Doctor cautiously steeped out onto the planet. Despite being dangerous it was beautiful! The rolling hills of pure blue and the fruit trees going miles into the purple sky. In the distance, a glass mountain could be seen capped with snow, it was reflecting the light of the orange sun and shining so bright it could have been on fire. The Doctor inhaled and smelt the sweet, sugar-like tingle in his mouth, a mixture of the grass and the fruits. He concluded that the planet was still young, only a couple of million years old. No forms of like yet, well no visible ones. He thought it was a shame, the Malserons were known across the universe for their pure beauty and intelligence.
Then, in the distance, he saw a tall dark figure approaching him. He called to it but it did not answer. It just walked toward him. As it got closer and closer, The Doctor could start too see the man's features. He was tall with light brown-blonde hair. He was wearing a lether jacket and jeans. And then the man stopped about 100 meters away from him.The doctor could see him perfectly, but could not recognise him. He shouted to the man to ask who he was but there was no response. The Dcotor asked if he had brought him there.
The man faintly said, "Yes..."
The Doctor kept asking questions but the man would not answer. When he tried walking towards him, the man finally spoke.
"Stop there Doctor." his voice was stained with disgust. "Do not take one more step."
The Doctor was confused. He didn't walk forward anymore, but instead just asked what the man wanted.
