Addisons POV
"-and now, I announce you, class of 2012-2013 graduates!" all I hear after Princial Malone announces us as graduates is a chorus of "wooooo" and "yeahhh! finally!". I turn towards Kyla and embrace her in a bonecrushing hug, "We did it" I whisper to my bestfriend, tears springing in my eyes. "Hang on, I gotta do something" Kyla says, walking away, leaving me in confusion. "Attention students, teachers, parents." I turn my head to the podium at the front of the gym and see nobody other than Kyla standing there "My name is Kyla Stewarts and I need to confess something. In 10th grade Jacob Graham and I had sex in the utility closet on the first floor. Sorry not sorry" she says. A collective gast can be heard throughout the crowd as Kyla walks away from the podium, a smirk planted on her face.
"What the hell was that?!?" I say to Ky as she returns to where I am standing in the gymnasium. "Something I have wanted to do since 10th grade" she replies, "well, if we're getting things off of our chests..." I trail off, already running towards the stage. "Thanks for that Kyla, I am Addison Greene and I have something to say. In 11th grade I called in sick from school, claiming I had the flu. Actually I was sore from the night before with Alex Sparks. Sorry Alex" I say into the microphone, I can see in the crowd that Alex is surrounded by friends, most likely questioning him about my confession.
As the day goes on I realize that this really is our last day as high school seniors, and as much as I don't want to admit it, I am really going to miss this place.
