Tsuna was standing in a room with another teen – a girl. The girl's eyes were shadowed by her hair, making it impossible to see her eyes.
"What are you doing?" Tsuna asked the girl.
"Leaving." The young girl replied.
"L-leaving? Why?" Tsuna asked.
"I'm not staying here with you." She replied.
"What? I thought we were-"
"No, I don't like you!" The girl said and began walking away.
"W-wait! No! Don't go!" Tsuna cried out as the girl began walking away. The girl disappeared in the darkness, leaving Tsuna all alone.
"No, don't go! Don't leave me all alone!" Tsuna called out, but it was no use. The darkness swelled around him and he collapsed to his knees. The emptiness of the room echoed around the walls and a coldness surrounded Tsuna. He felt tears begin to fall onto his cheeks.
Tsuna's eyes shot open and he jerked up on his bed. He was in his normal bedroom. His face was sweaty and his knuckles were stiff from clutching onto the blankets in his sleep.
"Oh, I was having a nightmare..." Tsuna thought. It was not the first time he had a nightmare like this. Tsuna was well known in his school for being called "Dame-Tsuna" or "No-good-Tsuna." Tsuna had shrugged off the names and tried to ignore them. He had a few friends, including Gokudera and Yamamoto. He had always thought that his friends cared for him, and did not think he was a no-good kid. He even had fallen in love with a girl who had said that she loved him back. He always thought that the two of them would always be together and he really loved her. Then, when he needed support from the one he loved, at a time when Tsuna needed her the most, she left him.
"As if I would ever love a useless kid like you."
Those words echoed in Tsuna's mind as the event replayed in his mind. He was left heartbroken and distraught. Ever since that day, Tsuna stopped trusting in people. Then the nicknames started to get to him. He started to believe that they could be true.
"Maybe I am just a useless no-good kid."
It was as though that event finally caused Tsuna to fall to the sadness and name-calling and stopped trusting others. He even stopped talking with his other friends Gokudera and Yamamoto. They weren't the ones to leave Tsuna, but he could never shake the feeling of abandonment away.
"There's a chance they might leave me to..." Tsuna thought. He got out of bed and prepared to go to school at Namimori Middle. He got dressed and washed his face and went down stairs to the kitchen for breakfast. Afterwards, he left the house with his bag and started heading towards the school. When he arrived at the school gates, he heard Gokudera and Yamamoto calling to him.
"Juudaime / Yo, Tsuna."
Tsuna lifted his eyes for a moment to see the two of them, and then lowered his head back down and continued walking to class. Gokudera and Yamamoto ran up to him and then began walking by his side. Gokudera gave his boss a worried look.
"He still isn't doing better..." He thought. Yamamoto put his hand on Gokudera's shoulder and gave him a small smile.
"I'm sure he'll be better soon." He whispered to Gokudera.
"I hope so." Gokudera replied.
Tsuna just kept walking forward, not really paying attention to the two teens walking along with him. He had dull eyes and seemed to be lost in thought.
