Tsuna blinked his eyes open and sat up on his bed. He yawned and looked around his room. In his sleep, he was having a nightmare, but somehow it faded away and he was able to have a peaceful sleep. He got out of bed and slipped out of his pajamas and into his school outfit. While he was getting ready, he seemed to have the tune of a song play in his head. He wasn't sure where it was from but it felt familiar.

After he was prepared for school, Tsuna grabbed his bag and headed out. At the gates he met with Gokudera and Yamamoto who smiled and greeted him.

"Good morning, Juudaime!" Gokudera said happily.

"Good morning..." Tsuna replied quietly. Gokudera and Yamamoto turned to look at each other and then at Tsuna with a slightly shocked expression. He replied instead of mumbling or even not replying at all. The two friends smiled and walked to class with Tsuna.

They entered their classroom and sat down in their seats when the bell rang. The teacher began the day's lesson and Tsuna glanced over at the empty desk where she used to sit. Tsuna sighed and set his head down on the desk. The day continued on like that until the lunch bell rang and the group of three walked up to the roof for lunch. Gokudera and Yamamoto talked happily and continued to watch Tsuna in hopes that he would feel better. Tsuna continued to keep his head down and didn't speak. He silently ate the packed lunch he brought until the three of them had to return to class. The day ended and Tsuna returned home where he did his homework and then relaxed during his free time.

As the day came to a close and the outside turning to nighttime, Tsuna crawled into bed and laid his head down on the pillow. He pulled the covers up over him and lay thinking for a bit. He wondered about whether he would have a nightmare again. Last night seemed... different. He closed his eyes and dozed off to sleep.

That night, while he was sleeping, Tsuna heard a soft tune being hummed. He was still asleep, but he was able to listen to it. It felt like someone was there, someone was watching over him, and whoever it was, they were humming the gentle and comforting song.

Tsuna woke up that morning and sunlight shone in his room. He sat up and looked around, but there was no one else in the room.

"There was someone here last night... right?" Tsuna thought to himself. He sighed and prepared for another day at school. He ate his breakfast, grabbed his bag, and left for school.

Once again he was greeted by Gokudera and Yamamoto who waved and smiled.

"Good morning, Tsuna." Yamamoto said. Tsuna mumbled a reply; he was too busy thinking about last night to reply properly. As they were walking to the front of the school, Tsuna looked over at Gokudera and Yamamoto.

"Umm..." Tsuna started. Gokudera and Yamamoto looked over at him.

"What is it?" Yamamoto asked.

"You guys... haven't... visited my house at night... have you?" Tsuna asked. Gokudera and Yamamoto both stopped and looked at Tsuna in shock and worry.

"No, I haven't." Yamamoto answered.

"Me either." Gokudera added. "Is someone sneaking into your house?!" He asked with a worried tone.

"N-no... it's not that..." Tsuna stammered.

"What is it, then?" Yamamoto asked.

"It's nothing... I just thought that I heard someone, that's all." Tsuna replied.

Gokudera and Yamamoto gave each other worried glances, but decided to not press on the subject.

The rest of the week continued on like that. Each night, when Tsuna would fall asleep and almost have a nightmare, he would hear the comforting melody being hummed. Then in the morning, he would wake up without knowing who it was that was there.
